Tenerife Insurance Services S.L. have their Head Office based in Las Chafiras in San Miguel de Abona and
have been selling insurance and associated products for over 25 years. Our customers have come to know
us as a trusted and reliable company with secure financial backing. In our constant strive to provide

This has been designed to provide members with a comprehensive package that will ensure all their funeral
arrangements are performed in a efficient, professional manner giving you peace of mind that your loved
ones are not burdened with the responsibility of organising things at a time of great distress to them,

Many expatriates living in Spain & the Canary Isles experience problems incurred by a death in the family.
Often, due to language problems or a lack of knowledge of local customs and an understanding of funeral
arrangement procedures in a foreign country people of all levels of financial standing are left bemused and
bewildered at a time of great distress.

Being independent we are able to negotiate directly with Funeral Directors and other associated services
who are situated locally, thereby speeding up the process and making the whole process easier and more
convenient.

Main Concerns…
   Funeral costs can be in excess of £3,000 / 4,500€ and are rising about 10% per annum.
   Funerals are often conducted within 24 hours, very different from the UK.
   Many funerals are completed even before the family has been notified.
   The funeral costs are paid in advance or on the same day as the funeral and can prove difficult to pay
      for, if not already provided for.
   Language difficulties – at a time when you are likely to be emotionally vulnerable you may agree
      arrangements that you do not require and cost a small fortune, unless you speak the local language.

How the plan works…
   This service is for people who value their security and peace of mind and who do not want to burden
      their next of kin with an unexpected and potentially high bill.
   For a single/one off payment you can pre-pay for all the arrangements to be taken care of and
      thereby protect yourself from rising costs.
   You select the plan to suit your requirements.
   We place a contract with a funeral director situated locally to where you live who will then complete
      the funeral and associated arrangements at no further cost to you.

How to Buy a plan…
   Choose the type of service you require.
       Standard Plan
         A standard cremation funeral covering the essential items pertaining to the removal and disposal
         of the body. This plan is usually completed within 24 hours and is best suited for single
         people with no family.
        Premier Plan
         A funeral service similar to that which you would expect in the UK, allowing 4 days of family
         participation. This is the most popular plan and is best suited for couples and families.

      Complete the application form.
       Please complete and return the order form enclosed. An acknowledgment letter will be sent to you
       within 14 days, during which time, if you so desire, you may cancel the agreement without
       obligation, commitment or any other kind of sales pressure.

      Make payment.
       You can pay for the plan in one of three ways ;-
        Make a bank transfer to the Caja Canarias, Arona, Tenerife quoting the full 20 digit account
          number : 2065-0098-29-3330001204
        Enclose a cheque made payable to Tenerife Insurance Services S.L. with your order form.
        Hand in your form at one of our offices and pay the amount due in cash (Euros).

Standard – 2,700€
    Attending to all necessary funeral arrangements
    Provision of Funeral Director’s services
    Preparation and care of deceased.
    Provision of hearse to local crematorium or cemetery.
    Conveyance of deceased to mortuary within the Canary Isles.
    1 days mortuary expense
    Advice on certification and registration
    Supply of coffin, robe & fittings.
    Provision of basic urn.
    Cremation fee and Doctor’s certificate.

Premier - 5,800€
    Attending to all necessary funeral arrangements
    Provision of Funeral Director’s services
    Preparation and care of deceased.
    Provision of hearse to local crematorium or cemetery.
    Conveyance of deceased to mortuary within the Canary Isles.
    3 days mortuary expense & 1 day in chapel of rest, if requested.
    Accompanying flowers.
    Advice on certification and registration
    Supply of quality coffin, robe & fittings.
    Provision of quality urn.
    Obituary notice in local newspaper.
    Cremation fee and Doctor’s certificate.


Options
    If you require a memorial service i.e. Church, Priest and staff attendance please add £250 / 375€.
    Funeral Extension – A further 5 days mortuary expenses please add £700 / 1050€.
                                                            Terms & Conditions
This document and the accompanying Funeral Plan Order Form details the terms of the Funeral Plan you have chosen and the conditions that
apply to that plan. Any subsequent references to “you” refer to the owner / taker out of the plan. Any subsequent references to “we / us / TIS”
refer to Tenerife Insurance Services S.L.

   1.    Purpose of the Funeral Plan.
         To provide you with the peace of mind that your funeral arrangements are professionally organised and that all costs specified in the plan will be paid
         for.

   2.    How does the plan work.
         The Funeral Pre-payment Plan fixes the costs of your funeral arrangement from the date you complete a Funeral Plan Order Form, regardless of how
         long you live for and provided all payments due under the plan have been paid. You may nominate any funeral director for us to contract and carry out
         your plan when the time arrives. If for some reason they are unable to perform the duties requested we will find an alternative funeral director in your
         locality.

   3.    Your commitment
         To pay the amount detailed on the order form in full, either within 14 days or within 24 months in the case of an instalment plan.

   4.    What do we guarantee?
         We guarantee to fix the price of the plan at the outset. This excludes any taxes or other legislative amendments that may be imposed by the authorities
         and are completely out of our control, such as the imposition of IGIC at a future date and is based on the costs of cremation. We retain the right to
         request payment of these additional charges at a later date. The guarantee is also subject to the plan as specified on the order form being paid up in full.

   5.    Payment Methods
         You can choose to pay for your plan in one of two ways. Firstly and most commonly with a fully paid up plan, which requires the total cost as detailed
         on the order form to be paid within 14 days of the Order Form being signed. Secondly, with an instalment plan whereby 20% of the total cost must be
         paid as a deposit and the outstanding balance is then spread over a maximum of 24 months, although there is an additional 8% per annum
         administration fee payable for this plan.

   6.    Are Instalment Plans more expensive?
         Yes, because of the increased administration required to control these plans and the fact that fully paid plans are invested from the outset and thereby
         grow during this period there is a 8% per annum levy on the premiums. This premium is included in the monthly amount payable. This is not a credit
         agreement and therefore you are not contractually obliged to complete the plan.

   7.    Can I alter the Instalments payable?
         Yes, the instalment plan can be converted to a fully paid up plan at any time.

   8.    Non-payment
         You have 45 days to reinstate the plan by continuing regular monthly instalments. If all payments have not been made then the policy will lapse and
         no refund will be issued in part or full.

   9.    Costs / Fees
         Costs of the plans are reassessed each year, but fixed at the time of receiving a signed Funeral Order Plan. 20% of the Plan’s value is deductible as
         fees under the above clause related to the initial setup/administration plus 10% per annum thereafter of the initial cost of the plan and the levy of any
         newly legislated charges.

  10.    Other Expenses
         All expenses for items required other than those detailed on the order plan are the responsibility of the deceased representative and shall be paid direct
         to the funeral director. It is possible to pay additional premiums to contribute towards the cost of other funeral related items which will then be
         repayable upon your demise and be paid direct to the funeral director.


  11.    Cancellation Rights
         You have 14 days from the signing of the order form to change your mind and cancel the agreement without any fees being payable. After this time no
         refund of any monies will be paid.

  12.    What to do when death occurs
         The family representative must contact the nominated funeral director who in turn will contact us. If the plan is fully paid then the funeral will proceed
         and the Funeral Director will invoice TIS for the service.

  13.    Data Protection Act
         Unless expressly advised to us in writing to the contrary we may use the information we hold about you be that in paper or electronic format for the
         purposes of administration of your plan and your funeral arrangements and pass this on to our sister companies for marketing purposes. Additionally,
         the information may be given to the appropriate Funeral Directors and their sub-agents in connection with this plan. Finally, we may be obliged by law
         to divulge information to the authorities and will comply with any legally processed request.
