applied to the key activities in the CDM project cycle 4.2.3 Prepare evaluation criteria and procedure for national approval of potential CDM projects 4.2.4 Conduct national workshop to introduce and discuss the guidelines with main stakeholders and CDM project partners 4.2.5 Finalise and issue an initial set of operational guidelines for proposed CDM projects that will apply at the national level 4.2.6 Participate in Asian regional training workshops to exchange and share experiences and lessons D for CDM activity management Output 4.3 Clearly guidelines for defining baseline parameters for CDM projects Activities: 4.3.1 Collect and analyse relevant materials on guidelines for baseline parameters developed by other countries 4.3.2 Work with international experts to develop guidelines for defining and projecting national, sectoral, and project baseline parameters in a manner that is consistent with decisions of the Parties to the UNFCCC on determining “additionality” and baselines 4.3.3 Organize a workshop to present and discuss the guidelines and revise them based on workshop outputs 4.3.4 Finalize the guidelines for baseline parameters that will apply to CDM projects in the CNA that is responsible for the approval of CDM projects and possibly for tracking the subsequent monitoring, verification, and certification of resulting emission reductions Activities: 4.4.1 Develop capacity within the CNA in approving CDM projects and tracking subsequent project support activities (monitoring, verification, and certification of resulting emission reductions) 4.4.2 Periodically review the operation of the CNA and identify areas for strengthening of capacity through specific training 4.4.3 Conduct/participate in national and regional training workshops that allow members of the CNA to share their respective experiences and D lessons learnt as well at to build their knowledge and capacity and improve their operational roles 4.4.4 Assist the CNA in developing a fee for service that ultimately allows it to be financially sustainable Output 5.1 Better information about existing skills and specific needs of each target group; high quality training materials for improving skills/capabilities on a variety of CDM topics; and developers capabilities are strengthened by participating in workshops Activities: 5.1.1 Identify relevant target groups (project developers, project financiers, NGOs, research institutions and academe), their level of understanding and specific needs 5.1.2 Prepare information and training materials based on specific needs of each target group, including guidelines for CDM project development 5.1.3 Organise workshops/training courses for relevant target groups Output 5.2 Increased support from national public and private sector project developers, financiers, NGOs, research institutions and academe, international counterparts for potential CDM projects identified and developed through the project Activities: 5.2.1
