Analyst Job Description
Description Pace Harmon is searching for Analysts with exceptional problem solving skills and a background/interest in supply chain management, outsourcing advisory services, or IT. Positions are based in both our Washington DC/Northern Virginia and San Francisco offices. Preferred candidates will exhibit outstanding academic performance with a focus on Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, MIS or other applicable fields of study. Responsibilities Analysts at Pace Harmon play a significant role on client engagements and perform a variety of consulting functions, including: Evaluating processes and systems to generate efficiencies and improvements in operational effectiveness Performing detailed data and business process analysis Preparing and delivering presentations to senior management Researching, conducting creative analysis, synthesizing, and reporting on business issues Facilitating and/or participating in client meetings and working sessions as well as interfacing with clients Supporting clients in all aspects of supply chain and strategic sourcing events such as RFP generation, vendor assessment, and contract negotiations Developing operational and technical implementation plans Contributing to proposals for new projects and clients

Working Environment Dress Code: Additional Information Travel Travel: Additional Information Diversity The working environment varies from project to project. Analysts generally work in small teams with 1-4 other Pace Harmon consultants, with project supervision provided by a Pace Harmon partner/principal. The dress code at the Pace Harmon office is business casual. While on client site, consultants must follow the client’s dress code, including wearing business attire when appropriate. addition, external training is utilized where specialized skills development may be required. Working hours vary from project to project. Analysts will generally work 45-60 hours per week. Analysts will receive 16 days of paid vacation during their first year with the firm. Analysts who demonstrate outstanding analytical and business acumen, effective interpersonal skills, and leadership ability will be considered for promotion to Associate within 2-3 years.
