Job Description - Panel Consultant
Position summary: The Panel Consultant consults with sales staff on pricing, feasibility
checks, and proposed sample plans for client quote requests. The Panel Consultant works
mainly with sales staff on proposals of medium complexity level, higher complexity with
senior support. The Panel Consultant focuses on project profitability.
Preparing proposals of medium to high complexity level
Preparing proposals of medium to high complexity level types of projects –
sample only, full service, national, international, ad-hoc, tracking, IHUTs,
Diaries, Online focus groups
Consultation with supervisor on out of the box projects and requests
Performing feasibility checks
Running counts on production systems
Establishing Proposed Sample Plans
Engage Partner Relations Associates for partner prices and feasibility
Responsible for project profitability
Quick turnaround time for all proposals
Mentoring Panel Consultants and Junior Panel Consultants
Learning/participating in training on new tasks related to preparation of a
1-2 years experience in market research industry
Client service experience
Ability and eagerness to learn and accept new responsibilities
Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple inquiries for quick and on time
Work within a team environment
Excellent English communication skills
Understanding of full service and sample only projects
Understanding of internal operations systems and other company applications.
Some understanding of different cultures/countries a plus. Preferably has traveled
before to other countries on leisure or business.
