Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Case Management, the Manager of Family Services
will be responsible for assisting the residents in pursuing and realizing their goals while ensuring every family
continually complies with the rules of the building. The Manager of family services will conduct screening interviews
for potential and resident families. Will pursue and assess the needs of each individual and their family. Be responsible
for assessing, guiding and motivating families and tracking the progress of the family. Develop and coordinate programs
and activities that will assist the families in achieving their goals. Coordinate with internal and external agencies that
enhance the economic opportunities and assist families in attaining their goals. Provide residents with referrals to
outside services and facilitate the process. Attend staff and network meetings as required. Report performance date
and economics outcomes monthly. Prepare bi-weekly reports and assist with annual report. Other duties as delegated
by supervisor.

   •   Excellent verbal and written communication skills
   •   Self-directed and able to work independently
   •   Strong use of independent judgment
   •   Strong organizational skills
   •   Must be detail oriented
   •   Able to be a team player
   •   Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
   •   Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends

Requirements:
   •   Minimum two years experience in career and/or financial counseling or four years of experience in related field
   •   Minimum of two years of experience in the following:
   •   Working with families and youth
   •   Case management
   •   Working in multicultural environment
   •   Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish
   •   Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Word

            Requirements:
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field


Work Experience:
  • 3 years previous social work experience preferred

Additional Requirements:
  • Valid California Driver’s License with automobile in good working condition as well as proof of liability insurance
