Outlook Client HTTP over RPC settings:
To create the RPC over HTTP connection for Outlook 2003, use the following
directions
Right Click on the Outlook Shortcut (desktop or Start Menu) and choose properties
Select Show Profiles, choose your profile and select Setup e-mail accounts and
directories
Select View or change existing e-mail accounts
Select change while highlighting Microsoft Exchange Server

And choose More Settings to bring you to:
Where you select the Connection tab
Tick the Connect to my Exchange mailbox using HTTP and click on the Exchange
Proxy Settings button
Fill in the details as shown below:

To configure your modem connection (to allow Internet connection)
Tap start, setting, connections, Connections
Tap Add a new modem connection, and choose an appropriate name, selecting
Cellular Line (GPRS) as the modem
The access port name (APN) is as listed above for your provider, the user
name and password are also detailed above
Click finish to save settings, and ok to quit configuration
(you may need to configure Proxy settings as detailed above for some providers)
To configure your GPRS settings:
Tap start, settings, Connections, GMS / GPRS settings
The network appropriate to your provider will be displayed, tap Edit network
parameters, Internet Connection Information.
Confirm your country settings, and confirm the connection name
Choose GPRS connection, tap next, and fill in the details as listed above for
your provider
Click ok to save settings at the end
To configure ActiveSync
Tap start, ActiveSync, tools, options
Choose Server, and fill the details as listed below:
Use this Server: remote.derby.gov.uk
Tick: This server uses an SSL connection
Under options fill in your account details (username, password & domain
(DerbyAD)
You may choose the Rules tab to set your synchronizing options
Click ok to save these settings and return to your choice of items to sync,
choose these as appropriate
