exclusively on The series will make its fourth appearance at Summit Racing
Equipment Motorsports Park, which four years ago underwent
a $4 million improvement project. The event begins the second
half of the season and is the final one on the tour before teams head west for the grueling
Western swing. The event also is the site of the eight-car Pro Stock bonus event, the NHRA
Qualifying K&N Horsepower Challenge, the winner of which receives $50,000.

NHRA Race Day victories at the event, the halfway point of the 24-race 2009 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing
noon-12:30 p.m., June 27 Series schedule. Their victories were crucial in many aspects. Dixon used his fourth win of
the season in Top Fuel, after Brandon Bernstein smoked the tires in the final, to move to
Eliminations second in the standings, and Funny Car champ Beckman moved into fourth place after
7-10 p.m., June 27 Gainesville winner Bob Tasca III smoked the tires. Line moved up a spot as well, into third
in Pro Stock, by defeating Mike Edwards, and Hines also took a step forward, into second
Repeat Eliminations place, behind teammate and fellow finalist Eddie Krawiec.

Toundas, Foltz named event dignitaries
P eter A. Toundas and Jim Foltz will serve as the grand
marshal and honorary starter, respectively, of the Summit
Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals.
