Instructions for use and price list of the Mobi system WELCOME TO MOBI SERVICE We are glad that you have become a user of the Mobi payas-you-go system, which has numerous benefits: You can start using the phone right away. You do not need a contract. There is no connection fee, no monthly subscription, no bills. Apart from voice calls you can also access other features offered by Mobitel. You can use your phone abroad. You have total control over what you spend, because you can talk as much as your credit allows you. Even if you have no credit on your Mobi account, you can still receive calls and text messages for 90 days since your last filling. You can check your credit in a simple way at all times. You can choose between different filling options. Your number can be anonymous or published in a phone book for free. You can keep the same number and simply change from pay-as-you-go system to subscription system or vice versa. • • • • • • • • • • • Your Mobi package includes a questionnaire with pre-paid return postage. Please complete it and return it to our address. We will send you a promotional EUR 5 voucher and a stack of personal cards. 1 Please note! By purchasing the Mobi package you receive a Mobi Certificate, which contains your Mobi phone number. Certificate proves the ownership of the number, so keep it safe. Likewise, keep the PIN number and the PUK code safe, as they prevent the unauthorised use of your Mobi phone number. ACTIVATING YOUR MOBI NUMBER •Insert SIM card into the phone. number. on the enter PIN •Turn *123# phone and the Dial button to check balance •Dial activateand press and Mobi number. Please note! PIN number is a security number that prevents your mobile phone from being used by an unauthorised person. After entering the PIN three times unsuccessfully, the SIM card will lock, and your phone number will be unusable. You can unlock your SIM card by entering PUK code. Be very careful when typing in PUK code - after ten consecutive unsuccessful attempts the SIM card will become permanently blocked. 2 FILLING YOUR MOBI ACCOUNT You can choose between several comfortable and simple ways of filling your or other user's Mobi accounts. The instructions are printed on the back of your Mobi voucher. Choose the way that suits you best. WITH A MOBI VOUCHER By using a command line (for your Mobi account) Dial the 16-digit code printed on your Mobi voucher as follows: *123*XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX# and press the Dial button. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX stands for the 16-digit number printed on your Mobi voucher. When the credit is added to your account, you receive the following notification: Filling successful: EUR XX. (XX stands for the credit added to your account.) By using a command line (for other user's Mobi accounts) Dial the 16-digit code printed on your Mobi voucher and the phone number you want to fill as follows: *123*XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX*phone number you want to fill# and press the Dial button. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX stands for the 16-digit number printed on your Mobi voucher. 3 When the credit is added to the chosen account, you receive the following notification: Filling of Mobi account 041XXXXXX successful: EUR XX. The Mobi user whose phone you have filled will receive the following text message: On dd-mm-yy, Mobi user 31XXXXXX filled your account with EUR XX. (31XXXXXX stands for the phone number of the user who filled the account, ddmm-yy stands for the date, and EUR XX for the amount added to the account.) Example The filling code on your Mobi voucher is: 1234567890123456. Your friend's phone number is 041 700 700. You can fill their phone by dialling: *123*1234567890123456*041700700# and then pressing the Dial button. Via phone Dial 123 and follow the instructions. Press 2 to fill your account. Enter the 16-digit filling code and press # (hash). The system will repeat the number you have entered. Press 2, if the number is correct. Press 1 if the number is incorrect, and then re-enter the number and press # (hash). • • • • After you have filled your account, you will receive notification about the amount, the new balance, and the validity of your Mobi account. 4 Please note! If the 16-digit Mobi account filling number is entered false five times in a row, the filling-up service will be locked. In this case, dial 121 to call the Customer Care Centre, and have your account filled and unlocked. Online Go to https://monitor.mobitel.si/mobinew and type in your phone number and PUK code. The site also contains details about managing your Mobi account. You can also fill other users' Mobi accounts online and text them about it; just click the Fill Other Users' Accounts tab. The site also enables you to send text messages to people whose accounts you have filled. WITHOUT A MOBI VOUCHER Using the Moneta service Moneta offers a convenient, quick and safe way to fill Mobi accounts and make other payments. The service is available to subscribers of Mobitel GSM/UMTS and Moneta users, who hold an account with the Nova kreditna banka Maribor, Poštna banka Slovenije or other issuers: by dialling a command sequence 1. Dial *127*filling amount*phone number# and pres the Dial button. Filling amount: EUR 5. If you have an active Moneta PIN number, dial*127*filling • 5 • amount*phone number*PIN# and press the Dial button. Filling amounts: EUR 5, EUR 10 and EUR 20. 2. You receive a system notification: Mobi account xxxyyyyyy filled: EUR xx. Redial *127# and press the Dial button. 3. To confirm, dial *127# and press the Dial button. Be careful! If the previous command sequence still appears on the display, delete it and then confirm the filling (*127#), otherwise the filling will not be accepted. 4. You receive a new system notification: Filling accepted. You will receive a text message about the filling. 5. When you have finished, you receive a text message confirming the filling. A text message is also sent to the user whose account you fill. through the mobile Planet service All you need is a phone that supports data transfer and enables secure https. To fill up, go to My Mobitel > Mobi Filling and follow the instructions which provide necessary details and confirming the actions. Filling amounts: EUR 5, EUR 10 and EUR 20. When using the mobile Planet service to fill your phone, the data transfer amount and duration are charged according to the published price list. 6 Using a credit card Fill your phone through the mobile Planet service and pay by credit card (Mastercard-Eurocard or Visa). You need a phone which supports data transfer and enables secure https. To fill up, go to My Mobitel > Mobi Filling and follow the instructions which provide necessary details and confirming the actions. Filling amounts: EUR 5, EUR 10 and EUR 20. When using the mobile Planet service to fill your phone, the data transfer amount and duration are charged according to the published price list. Using the Mobimam service Mobimam also enables you to fill up your phone and pay by a credit card. The service is open to all Mobitel users, who have a valid Mastercard-Eurocard or Visa. To start using Mobimam, please go to the nearest Mobitel centre. When you register, you receive your personal password (a 4-digit code), which you need to use every time you want to fill your phone using the Mobimam service. The advantage of using Mobimam is that you do not need to enter all the details of your credit card each time you want to fill your phone, but just the filling command. The service is especially useful for people who often pay by credit card. For more information, please visit www.mobitel.si. 7 MOBI ACCOUNT VALIDITY PERIODE Mobi pay-as-you-go service has numerous benefits. However, you have to monitor the validity of your account regularly. Filling the account regularly prevents from being locked automatically. Within 90 days When you fill your account, you have 90 days to use the credit for Mobitel service. A new 90-day period begins every time you fill your account. New credit is added to the remaining one on your account. Within this period you can receive phone call, text and voice messages in your phone box even if you have used all your credit. From 90 to 270 days Ninety days after your last fill your number is temporarily locked. You can start using the services again when adding credit to your account. With the filling, a new 90-day period begins, when you can use all Mobi services and features. The value of the payment is added to the unused credit. After 270 days After 270 days since your last filling your Mobi number will be permanently locked, which means that you lose all unused credit and your phone number. 8 CHECKING YOUR BALANCE To avoid having problems with the Mobi service, we suggest you track your balance. You can check your balance in the following ways: Dial *123# and press the Dial button. Current credit information and expiry date are displayed. To check the balance on the account you can also dial 123 and press 1. You can also check your credit and validity online: https://monitor.mobitel.si/mobinew. • • • Please note! When you've only got credit for a 60 second voice call or when the account is empty, you will hear a short beep. When you have used all your credit the call will end. COVER MY CALL Has it ever happened to you that your kids were supposed to call you, but didn’t? And when you later asked them why, they said – their credit was low? With the new Cover my call service this won’t happen again. Now Mobi users can choose two Mobitel subscribers who agree to cover the cost of calls to their numbers. Your children will be able to call you any time, even if their credit has run out – it’s you who pays the bill, so there are no excuses. Of course, any one can use the service, your Mom, Grandma or Grandpa. For more information please visit www.mobitel.si. 9 MOBI MONETA IN MOBI POCKET MONEY Thirsty, but you only have your mobile phone with you? Want to take your date to the cinema, but your pockets are empty? Are you afraid that the tickets for the concert of your favourite band will run out before it is your turn in the queue? You have to pay the parking meter and you only have credit cards in your wallet? Would you like to pay a taxi but both, you and the taxi driver have no change? Is you Mobi account empty and you do not have a Mobi voucher? The answer to all these situations is Moneta! You will see how simple your life will become. Moneta is a really useful and safe methode of payment. Instead of paying in cash or by credit card, use your mobile phone at designated Moneta payment terminals. Could it be any easier? Plus, you pay for all your purchases at a later date. Mobi Moneta To start using Mobi Moneta, go to the nearest Mobitel centre and sign a contract. You will receive a monthly invoice with a breakdown of all the purchases you have made. Mobi Pocket Money Moneta payments can be covered by a Mobitel subscriber. Subscribers can choose up to four Mobi users and set a 10 monthly limit for Moneta purchases to the amount of EUR 10, 20 or 30. The selected amount will be added to the subscriber's invoice. Only one person can pay for the Moneta purchases of a Mobi user. To start the Mobi Pocket Money service, the subscriber has to come to a Mobitel centre. SWITCHING TO A SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGE Do you want the benefits available to subscribers? VOICEMAIL AND MISSED CALL NOTIFICATION Have you switched off your phone or forgot to recharge your battery? Can not answer a call? Do you still want to know who called you? Easy. Divert your calls to a voicemail or select the missed call notification service. Use either of these two options and you will never have to worry about missed an important calls. Voicemail You can divert your calls to a voicemail when your line is busy, if you are out of reach, want to redirect your calls, do not want to disturb others with you phone ringing or can 12 not answer the phone. If you do not want your callers to be greeted by the standard voicemail system message you can record your own personal greeting. To activate voicemail, send a text message with the keyword VMS to 1918. To divert your calls, enter the number of your voicemail in your phone menu: +38631100000 or +38641100000 or +38651100000. You can listen to your voicemail messages by calling 031/041/051 101 000. Voicemail Call to voicemail The price is listed in EUR per call. Rate EUR 0.05967 Missed call notification Have you been out of reach and want to know who called you in the mean time? Use the missed call notification service. When you're out of reach the system will remember all voice calls to your number. When you are available again,you receive a SMS message, which comprises information on missed call. To activate the service send a text message with the keyword KLIC to 1918. 13 Missed call notification Missed call notification message Rate None VIDEO CALLING If you have a UMTS mobile phone, talk to someone face to face by using the video call service. How? Easy. Dial the number you want to call and press the video Dial button. For successful video call, both users need a UMTS-phone with a built-in camera, have their video call service activated and be in a UMTS availability area. To activate the service send a text message with the keyword VTEL to 1918. MMS service allows you to send all your recordings 15 and add a text message to another phone, via e-mail or as a traditional postcard. MMS messages enable you to send text, picture, animation and sound recording or video clip, which you have made with your own phone. To activate the service send a text message with the keyword MMS to 1918. For configuration settings call us at 121. SMS-Call-me Do not have credit on your Mobi account? Use SMS-Callme service and notify someone that you would like to contact them, but you do not have enough credit on your Mobi account. Dial *128*phone number# and press the Dial button (the phone number is the number you want to send the SMS-Callme text message to, written in the 041700700 format). After successfully sent text message, you will receive the following notification: ‘The message has been sent.’ In case of failure, you will receive a message saying ‘Failure!’. When the message is successfully sent the recipient will receive a text message on the phone: ‘Please call me on my mobile or fill my Mobi account for which you can use Moneta or a Mobi voucher.’ Sending this text message is free of charge. 16 MMS postcard Be original, creative and delight your friends and family by sending them a personalised postcard. Take a picture with your mobile phone, create new MMS message, add photograph, recipient’s address and text. With the data transfer package you can transfer data faster, surf more comfortably and efficiently, browse more quickly, manage your e-mail and much more. To use packet data transfer, you need to have enough credit on your Mobi account to transfer a minimum of 5 kB. Mobi GPRS roaming with operators abroad is not available yet. 18 PLANET How to access different content and services quickly and comfortably? Easy! All interesting information, content and services are available on the Planet multimedia portal. You can find the web Planet at http://www.planet.si, where we keep you up to date with national and world news, and other current events. Here you can personalise your mobile Planet configurations and download content (including ring tones, games, backgrounds) on your mobile phone. Other services are also available in a user-friendly way: web postman, Monitor, Mobi account, missed call notification, MMS postcard, etc. Mobile Planet is Mobitel’s multimedia portal on your mobile phone, with which you can quickly, simply and comfortably access domestic, foreign, sports, cultural and other news, 19 browse through information on the weather and traffic updates, and the like. Enhance your mobile with the latest melodies, tones, backgrounds, screensavers, and other entertaining content. Access content you find interesting and choose your own Planet: Venus, Mars, Pluto or Mercury. Each planet suits a particular lifestyle. If you want, you can add your favourite content. The network of a foreign operator can be selected manually (see phone manual for details) or automatically - which means the phone finds the network with the best coverage. When a network has been found the name or abbreviation of the operator is displayed. Please note! In some countries Mobitel has signed agreements with several local operators, who can differ according to the services they provide and coverage. ADDITIONAL INTERNATIONAL ROAMING SERVICES Roaming services are available to all Mobi users in networks of foreign operators, which have a roaming agreement with Mobitel. Mobi roaming enables you to receive inbound calls, and receive and send text messages. In networks offering the outbound call back service, you can make outbound calls by typing in a special command sequence. 21 In networks where the operator supports the standard calling service, we also offer: sending and receiving text messages accessing the mobile Planet (over the standard CSD data transfer) sending and receiving MMS-messages (only over CSD). • • • • • However, it is not possible: to access voicemail to use packet data transfer (GPRS). CHECKING BALANCE Costs of outbound and inbound calls, sent text and MMS messages are automatically updated. If your credit on the Mobi account is sufficient, you can always access these services abroad. In order to access international roaming without disruption, regular balance checks of your Mobi account are recommended. FILLING YOUR MOBI ACCOUNT ABROAD Save yourself any worries and fill your Mobi account with an amount that will enable you to use the phone without disruption before you travel abroad. When you have dialled the above command sequence and confirmed it by pressing the Dial button, the following message is displayed ‘Processing request, please wait’. In a few moments your phone will ring. By answering it, the call to your desired number is activated. The line is activated when the person you are calling takes the call. The process is the same when calling a foreign network user. 25 Example To call a subscriber in the UK from abroad dial *125*0044xxxxxxxx#. Please note! The best way to find out which calling option is supported by the operator is to try them. First, try calling using the standard calling option, and if this fails, try using the call back service. Not all operators support the standard calling or call back service. If the operator does not support outbound calls, you can receive inbound calls and text messages. Foreign operators are not obliged to relay this information to Mobitel.
