              to broadband Internet access when infrastructure is in place.

Oct 2000…     Network/System Administrator. Adirondack Life, Inc. (Jay, NY) part-time
              Maintain network, e-mail accounts, PCs, and all peripherals. Maintain and update website
              (www.adirondacklife.com) using Macromedia Dreamweaver / Fireworks. Website statistics/marketing
              knowledge of internet protocols, evaluate and recommend HW/SW, PCs, all peripherals and LAN
              equipment.

Aug 1998     Subsurface geological surveys. Phase II site assessments, some Phase III passive remediation.
             Troubleshoot and advise groundwater/vadose zone conditions and soil lithology, plume delineation,
             install mini-wells and collect soil/soil-gas/groundwater samples with client’s on-site engineer/geologist.
             Familiarity with PIDs/FIDs/water level indicators. Survey wells with stadia rod and surveyor’s
             automatic level.      Project coordinator: file daily project reports/summaries, well logs, write
             proposals/cost estimates for new projects, invoice/summarize completed projects.

Jul 1995 -   New York State DOT Inspector/Lab Technician: CME Associates (Rochester, NY)
Sep 1995     Aggregate materials tester/inspector for compliance with NYSDOT and ASTM engineering
             specifications (sieve analysis). Compressive strength analysis directed by ASTM standards for
             building materials in private sector and NYSDOT. Calculated moisture content, fineness modulus,
             material densities/shrinkage’s, material strength. Required use of sieves, sample-splitters, rupture
             machines, calipers and shakers.

             INDEPENDENT STUDIES
             ArcView: GIS Applications SUNY Plattsburgh Spring 1999
             Digitized maps, database and shapefile creation and QA/QC using ArcView 3.1. Project involved
             property reassessment for towns in Jefferson County, NY. Grade: A.

             Groundwater Hydrology of an Inter-Drumlin Catchment SUNY Oswego 1995
             Monitored surface water and groundwater flows into riparian wetland. Measured hydraulic conditions
             in wetland and stream using piezometers and mini-flowmeter. Surveyed observation points and
             miniwells with alidade and plane table. Interpreted groundwater flows with data collected along with
             minor meteorological data. Used Excel and Delta Graph for graphical analysis. Grade: A.

             WORKSHOPS/CONTINUING EDUCATION
             GIS Metadata Workshop Plattsburgh, NY May 1999 sponsored by NYS Library.
             Discussions on development of statewide and nationwide metadata standards. Introduction to NYS
             GIS Clearinghouse and other federal and state GIS Clearinghouses standards. Online metadata
             mining and procedures.

             ESRI Certified Online Training - ArcView 3.1 January 1999
             Self-paced online training titled, “Introduction to ArcView GIS”. Approximately 30 hrs.
             Modules: Basics of ArcView, Querying Data in ArcView, Working with Tables in ArcView, Analyzing

             ArcView.
