There are three worksheets in the attached spreadsheet.

Please fill out only the BLUE shaded boxes on both the revenue and expense page.

On the revenue spreadsheet, we have given one scenario of 100 students per grade. You
may change that if you prefer.

In addition, we have hardwired a number of $7,500 per student into your budget as a base
revenue. In reality, the revenue is weighted by different student characteristics.
However, to guess on those characteristics at this point is very difficult so we set a flat
number of $7,500 per student.

For the $550,000 of startup dollars, please feel free to move those dollars around in terms
of timing of when you will need to spend those.

On the expense side, again just calculate the number of staff positions.

While we have a principal in the budget model, we are assuming that the district covers
that cost at this time. In addition, the district will provide special education and custodial
staff.

Once the blue boxes have been filled in, you can move to the summary page to see if you
have a suplus or a deficit. You do not need to enter in any information on this page.
