Graham Rahal’s ongoing efforts to
regain full-time status in the IndyCar
Series got a boost from Dreyer &
Reinbold Racing, which installed him in
its No. 24 car for Iowa and indicated it
was interested in pursuing a more long-
term association with the second-
generation racer. Although Paul Tracy
took over the car for Watkins Glen, D&R
general manager Larry Curry indicated
Rahal was the team’s top choice to
replace Mike Conway on a regular basis
while the Briton recovers from injuries
suffered in his crash at Indianapolis.

running a third car for Rahal at the Glen
