Weather Forecast for Central America Part A 4 1 3 2 Label Observation 1 2 3 4 Clear skies and sun Cold Front Warm front Stationary front Inference High pressure, no clouds, sinking air. Intense precipitation, high winds, followed by sun Light to moderate rain, cloudy skies Rain for a prolonged period of time Part B Thick Cloud near the fronts Clear Skies This map shows the cloud cover associated with the cold and warm fronts shown on the forecast map. There is heavy cloud cover near these fronts and clear skies where the high pressure areas were identified on the forecast map. Part C The weather in Central America and the southern U.S is expected to be clear and sunny for the next couple of days. There are several frontal systems that have moved east into the Gulf of Mexico and have been replaced by clear sunny skies. The stationary front located in the southern US will bring precipitation for the next few days.
