MoTV @ NAB TO CHART THE NEXT REVOLUTION IN MOBILE MEDIA: TELEVISION AND VIDEO ON CELLPHONES NAB and iHollywood Forum announce speakers, sessions and sponsors for the second annual summit. Los Angeles, CA, March 23, 2007 – The National Association of Broadcasters and iHollywood Forum, Inc. announced the sessions, speakers and sponsors participating in the second annual MoTV: Mobile TV and Video Forum on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 during NAB2007. The event comes as carriers and programmers race toward the goal of near-TV quality video on cellphones. More than 30 speakers, including Qualcomm Chief Executive Paul Jacobs; HBO’s, Executive Vice President, Technology and Chief Technology Officer, Robert (Bob) M. Zitter; Sony Digital Entertainment’s Senior Vice President, Sony Pictures, Digital Sales and Marketing, Michael Arrieta, are expected at the event, which played to a sell-out crowd of nearly 1,000 attendees last year. “The television broadcasters and programmers attending NAB need to know how their content will be adapted on cellphones,” said Michael Stroud, CEO and Co-Founder of iHollywood Forum. “MoTV is designed to educate them, and help them cut the deals they need to succeed in the mobile world.” MoTV is the first and largest event in the world dedicated to mobile video and will take place as part of NAB2007, the world’s largest electronic media show. More than 100,000 attendees, sponsors and exhibitors are expected to attend NAB2007. The conference will consider the two emerging models for mobile video: a "one-to-one" model that lets users pick the video-on-demand or streaming video content they want over the mobile Internet; and a "one-to-many" model that brings true television over a dedicated spectrum to users. MoTV’s lively agenda, mostly moderated by key journalists and analysts, will feature sessions such as Mobile Video: Opportunities and Obstacles, Video that Cells and Selecting Viable Business Models. Featured Keynote: Paul Jacobs, Qualcomm, Chief Executive Officer MoTV Panel Sessions include: Mobile Video: Opportunities and Obstacles Mobile TV: The Battle is Joined Video that Cells This Video Brought to You By...
