Graphs and Charts
We can make graphs and charts from information typed into Excel worksheets. We use different types of graphs and charts for different reasons. Here are some examples.
Column Chart
This is used to show different amounts. It has a y-axis on the left side, showing numbers. It has a x-axis at the bottom, showing items.

Pie Graph
This is used to show how a total is made up of its parts. It is a Circle cut into a number of segments.
Line graph
This is used to show how things change over time. It has points joined together by a line.
