PROCEDURE: After a review of the vocabulary students will open bags of candy and sort by color. After the candy is sorted students should count the amount of pieces for each color and record the data as a calculating percentage of the total by each color, students will log in to Excel and enter their data in columns. Students will select Chart Wizard and pick out either a Bar, Column or Pie Chart. Students will create a graph using the chart wizard. Once the graph is completed, students will format labels on the graph to ensure the data is complete. Students will also format color elements of the graph to make the representations on the graph reflect the candy colors. ASSESSMENT: Students will have a completed, custom graph with a chart title and labels that represents their candy count by color.
