CENTRAL BIBLE COLLEGE
OFF-CAMPUS HOUSING INFORMATION
All single students are required to live in the residence halls. The college considers permission to live off-campus to be an
exception. Unless a student meets one or more of the following criteria, permission will not be granted.
Students who meet the qualifications and desire to live off-campus are required to attend one of two mandatory off-campus
housing meetings held in March. These will be the only meetings held regarding off-campus living; please plan your
schedule accordingly. This meeting will include information regarding the approval process, community resources, and
standards of behavior that are expected of Central Bible College students living off-campus. Failure to attend one of these
meetings will prohibit a student from living off-campus.
Application for off-campus housing must be made annually. The request will be reviewed and approved by the Vice
President for Student Development. The Off-campus Housing Request Form is available on the CBC website, in the
Commuter Center, or in the Student Development Office. Forms must be submitted prior to the March Registration.
No single student who has accumulated more than two probations (academic, chapel, and/or disciplinary) in the current or
previous academic year will be granted off-campus housing privileges. Commuters who are not fully approved for the
academic year will receive an automatic $100 fine and will be required to relocate back on campus. While CBC understands
that the cost of a quality academic education and ministerial training demands a financial investment, off-campus housing
requests will not be granted solely on the basis of financial need. Prior lease agreements and other financial consequences
resulting from neglect or ignorance of the policy will not supersede campus policy.
