MIT – Logan Airport Shuttle
We will offer a complimentary shuttle service from Boston’s Logan Airport to the MIT
campus on Thursday, April 8 and back to Logan Airport on Sunday, April 11. On
Thursday, the shuttle will be stationed in Terminal E and will leave the airport for
campus approximately every half-hour beginning at 8:00am and continuing until 9:00pm.
The last bus will leave Logan at 9:00pm. On Sunday, the shuttle will run from 6:00am
until 2:00pm. The last bus leaving MIT for the airport will be at 2:00pm.
When you arrive, proceed directly to Terminal E. If your flight does not arrive at
Terminal E, you may take the complimentary Logan Airport Shuttle to Terminal E
where you will find our official airport greeters (with MIT insignia) who can direct you
to the MIT airport shuttle. The airport shuttle is a green Peter Pan bus with an MIT sign
on the front windshield.
If you are arriving or departing outside of the MIT shuttle hours of operation, you can
take a taxi (cost about $35). It’s also quite easy to take public transportation to MIT
from Logan Airport ($2.00): take the Silver Line bus (SL1) from your airport terminal.
Get off at the last stop, South Station. Get on the Red Line subway towards Alewife.
Do NOT take any train headed to Ashmont or Braintree. Get off at the fourth stop,
Kendall/MIT – don’t forget your luggage! Ascend the escalators and follow walking
instructions from Kendall/MIT Subway Stop.
