Mekong Delta Cruise 2 Days / 1 Night
The Mekong Delta, or the ‘Nine Dragon River Delta’, is the vast region in Southeast Vietnam where the Mekong River
approaches and empties into the sea.  Encompassing almost 40,000 square kilometres of Southeastern Vietnam, the
Mekong Delta region is abundant with water, fruit orchards, and most importantly, rice fields. Stay aboard the converted
traditional wooden rice barge ‘The Bassac’. The boat’s well-equipped cabins, complete with air-conditioning and en-suite
bathrooms, and attentive staff provide you with all the necessary comforts.  The boat is entirely built of wood with
the hull made from go sao, a now rare wood traditionally used for building quality ships.  With a large restaurant,
galley and upper deck, there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the laid back rhythms of the Mekong Delta.

Grand Vietnam
14 Days / 13 Nights
This journey combines a wide variety of ethnic minority groups set in high mountains, deep ravines and
terraced fields of Vietnam. They still retain their lifestyle, wear traditional costume and are some of the
friendliest and most hospitable people you could meet.

Halong Bay is one of the world’s natural wonders and features more than one thousand awesome limestone
karsts and islands of various sizes and shapes. You’ll see all this and more aboard a traditional junk boat
with all the modern amenities.

My Son Sanctuary has arguably the best collection of Cham art and architecture in its natural setting.
Many of the structures are overgrown with dense vegetation making it all the more unique to visit.

fresh life and influenced not only from an ancient Hindu past but a new and exciting future

Breathe – the scent of coriander, basil and chives chopped in fresh abundance on bowls of steaming
beef noodle soup

Savour – the opulence of the Silver Pagoda in Phnom Penh with its 5000 silver floor tiles, Emerald Buddha of
Baccarat crystal and 90 kg life-size gold Buddha glistening with thousands of encrusted diamonds

Whilst it is very difficult to describe the scale and majesty of the Temples of Angkor, it is certainly possible
to put into words the aura of mystery and atmosphere of the complexes. Built by kings who were said to be
incarnations of the gods, these incredible temple-cities were once home to hundreds of thousands of people,
each built to outshine all its predecessors in scale and grandeur.

Cambodia Culture & Cuisine
6 Days / 5 Nights
Our Cambodia Culture & Cuisine tour is the perfect holiday package for those aspiring to learn about
the country’s history, tradition, and cooking. In this tour, you will dine in some of the best restaurants
Cambodia has to offer with one featuring a Cambodian puppet show and dance. Float over Angkor Wat on
a helium balloon and visit museums portraying Cambodian history. Then learn about local ingredients and
preparation techniques with a Cambodian cooking class.

Your Chef will take you to the market, and explain everything about Cambodian vegetables, herbs, spices
and other ingredients and teach you the art of Khmer Cuisine. Khmer recipes go back to the days before
the introduction of the chilli, so are consequently much milder than most Asian food.

There is also an opportunity to shop for beautiful silk garments or perhaps even have some clothes
tailormade for you at very affordable prices.

Cambodia in Depth
10 Days / 9 Nights
See the cities of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, explore the temples of Angkor and relax on the beach in
Sihanoukville.
Whilst the temple-cities of Angkor have long been uninhabited and were lost to the jungle for centuries,
they remain a place of pilgrimage for many Buddhist devotees today. The sight of saffron-clad Buddhist
monks wandering silently among the immense stone ruins is unforgettable. Lucky visitors may also see
the other denizens of the temples – elephants from the nearby elephant sanctuary who have been known
to take their afternoon bath in the moat surrounding Angkor Wat.
Sihanoukville, on Cambodia’s southern coast is a total contrast to much of the rest of the country. Famous
around the world for its ancient ruins and French colonial villas, Cambodia is less well-known for this
seaside town, founded as recently as the early 1960s. There are palm-fringed beaches within walking
distance of the town centre and the relatively unexplored coastline and islands offer great opportunities
for diving and boat excursions.

Let Laos awaken your senses
See – the golden temple spires of the ancient capital of Luang Prabang, a world heritage site, situated
in a beautiful river valley overlooked by a dramatic mountain range

Hear – the early cries of the market stall keepers in Talat Sao, selling anything from spicy food to
the kitchen sink – literally

Breathe – the fresh aroma of baguettes baking in the French influenced city of Vientiane jostling
with the sharp scent of garlic and soy in small roadside stalls

Savour – the mystical quiet in the Pak Ou Caves with hundreds of statues of the Buddha gracing
stairways, walls and rough, stone outcrops. The jagged hole in the rock that signals the entranceway from
the river is a fitting gateway to this very special place

Feel – the refreshing spray of the famous Tad Kwang Si waterfall after a days walk through ethnic
villages, agricultural areas and imposing forest

Luxury Laos in Style 6 Days / 5 Nights
Discover the distinctive charm and beauty of Laos in this journey through the kingdom formerly known
as Lang Xang, the Land of Million Elephants. Staying in some of Indochina’s most elegant hotels you
will have the opportunity to taste the unique atmosphere in Luang Prabang as well as see enigmatic
Vientiane. Along the way you will be enchanted and fascinated by this extraordinary Buddhist country
noted for her genuinely friendly people and languorous pace of life.

Luang Prabang is one of Asia’s most beautiful towns. A unique blend of temples and colonial buildings
set between two rivers and a range of limestone mountains, it is one of the last Shangri-la’s in the world.
Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, the architectural heritage of the city has been preserved,
and no tall buildings mar the townscape. This ancient town is resplendent with well-preserved Buddhist
temples, pagodas and tree-lined riverbanks. We will bring you deep into the limestone caverns of the
Pak Ou Caves to see the repository of Buddha statues and up Mount Phou Si to capture the spectacular
panorama of the town. You will have time to observe and partake in the giving of food items to saffron-
clad monks as they stroll along the streets during their daily alms collection at dawn as well as pick up an
assortment of textiles and handicrafts in the bustling hill tribe night market.

A flight south will take you to Vientiane, the capital city of Laos, located along the Mekong River.
Resembling a small town more than a capital, Vientiane still maintains the handsome majesty and grandeur
of its colonial yesteryears with its ample French-inspired buildings and wide boulevards. You also have the
opportunity to learn the finer aspects of Lao culture heritage through its fine cuisine and traditional crafts
besides enjoying an aromatic brew of the local coffee by the riverbanks of stately Mekong River.

The bustling metropolis of Beijing has an impressive history tracing back 69,000 years. It was once the ancient
capital of three dynasties – Yuan, Ming and Qing. Although there are towering skyscrapers and busy shopping
malls, you can still feel a strong authentic Beijing heartbeat around the hutong areas and when visiting the
historical attractions. Stay in the luxury stylish boutique ‘Red Capital Residence’ rather romantically well-
hidden, tucked away in an unassuming residential neighborhood. This 200-year-old courtyard residence, or
hutong, in Beijing’s Dongsi district, is entered through red doors complete with brass lion’s-head knockers.
Walls and doors gleam in red lacquer, and the courtyard oozes the rockeries of a traditional garden.

The Imperial Yangtze
10 Days / 9 Nights
Starting in Beijing, you’ll explore historical imperial treasures such as the Forbidden City, Great
Wall and famed Summer Palace. Visit Xi’an the home of the Terracotta Warriors, before cruising the
legendary Yangtze River. An engineering marvel of the Three Gorges Dam and sailing through the
wildly beautiful Three Gorges and Lesser Gorges before reaching Yichang. You’ll also have time to
explore cosmopolitan Shanghai, China’s most cutting edge, modern city.

Snaking its way 6,300 kilometres from western China’s Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the East China Sea,
the Yangtze River stretches nine provinces and serves as a drain for 695,000 square miles of land. It is
less in length only to the Amazon and Nile, and spans so many regions that it has acquired half a dozen
names. For over two centuries the Yangzte has served as a transportation highway and commercial
thoroughfare. Ocean-going vessels can navigate up the river for 1000 km and steamers can travel as far
as Yichang, 1600 km from the sea!

Cultural Treasures
8 Days / 7 Nights
Travel off the beaten track and explore the cultural treasures of China’s ‘Middle Kingdom’. Learn how
to make dumplings and noodles in a local Chinese Farmer’s home, experience an incredible Kung Fu
performance, watch a local folk dance and practice the art of Chinese calligraphy.

Travel from Beijing to the national historical and cultural city of Zhengzhou. This ancient city was the
capital of Shang Dynasty (16th - 11th century BC) 3,500 years ago!

A highlight is the Shaolin Temple. Today, Shaolin Temple is a practising Buddhist temple where
adaptations of the original Shaolin Kung Fu are taught. Visit the Pagoda Forest, where there are nearly 250
stone and brick pagodas ranging from the Tang, Song, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties (618-1911).

The Cultural Treasures tour wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the once capital of the Middle
Kingdom – Luoyang, before finishing in Xi’an.
