Canadian Children's Literature Awards: INFORMATION BOOK AWARD Began 1987. Annual. Recognizes excellence in the writing of information books in English for children and young people from ages 5 to 15. Authors must be Canadian citizens. Sponsored by the Children's Literature Roundtables of Canada. The 30+ Roundtables across Canada vote on the shortlist in late October.
