Sanctioned by Badminton World Federation, Badminton Pan Am, and the USAB
Events: 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+. Players are eligible for an age group
provided they are 35+, 40+, 45+ etc. years of age on January 1, 2009.
Limit of 4 events for MS, MD, WD, and MX. Limit does not apply to WS. At the discretion of
Tournament Committee additional events may be added if events need additional players.

Tuesday Jan 13 8 am – 6 pm Golf tourney
Jan 13 6 pm – 10 pm 50+ and older age groups
Wednesday Jan 14 9 am – 6 pm 50+ and older age groups
6 pm – 10 pm All age groups

Participants in 35, 40, and 45 age groups may request Thr 9 am start.

Draw: The draw and schedule will be published at www.tournamentsoftware.com.
Seedings: Seeding will be determined from the previous 2 U.S. Senior International Badminton
Championships and from ranking information submitted by players regarding rankings or
tournament results in foreign countries.
Dinner & Dance: Tickets are $45.00 US each and must be paid for in advance with entry form.
Dress is casual.
Rules: BWF regulations: 3 x 21 Rally Points Scoring System. Competitors are advised that clothing and
advertising must conform to BWF regulations.
Shuttles: Yonex feathered shuttles.
Official Hotel: The Official Hotel is Don Shula's Hotel & Golf Club in Miami Lakes. A special rate is
reserved for tournament participants at $145.00 for Single/Double Occupancy. Please
