FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Celebration Stories Sought for New Inspirational Down Syndrome Book Mesa, AZ – Sept. 17, 2007 – The authors at Windows Into Heaven are accepting stories to be considered as part of a new and unique inspirational book featuring stories about those blessed to have Down syndrome. Windows Into Heaven is a soon-to-be-released collection of heartwarming and inspirational stories of families and individuals who have been positively touched by Down syndrome. The title of the book was derived from tribes in the Native American culture that embrace the belief that children with Down syndrome have a gift that allows us to see directly to the Great Spirit through their simple spirits and minds. The authors translate this belief to the equivalent of a window into heaven. The journeys of these individuals are familiar to author Stacy Tetschner because he is the father of a four year old with Down syndrome. Along the way he has met many other wonderful parents of children with Down syndrome. They have been excited, thrilled, challenged and sometimes hurt – many times all in the same afternoon. He has met young adults with Down syndrome who now drive, work, are getting married, and were even crowned homecoming queen and king among thousands of typical students in their public high school. They each inspire anyone who has someone in their life that has Down syndrome. This book will share these messages of hope and happiness. Those who have a story to share are encouraged to submit them through the web site http://www.windowsintoheaven.net. All stories will be considered for publication in Windows Into Heaven. Story ideas include: - Special Accomplishments - Cherished Family Memories - Events - Friendships and Acceptance - Career Accomplishments - Adoption Stories - Or anything that helps celebrate Down syndrome and the positive ways in which it touches lives For information: http://www.windowsintoheaven.net or Contact: Stacy Tetschner - Author Phone: 602-770-0177 E-Mail: stacy@windowsintoheaven.net
