I was also involved in specs reviews and inspections, providing feedback on testability to PMs. Accomplishments: During this internship (my second one at Microsoft), I tested 15 of the 30 Templated SharePoint Applications released on August 1st 2005. Created test scripts to be used for all 30 templates and any upcoming new templates, and wrote a TDS. Technology Intern Commoca, Inc. – Mayagüez, Puerto Rico Responsibilities: As a VoIP startup company, Commoca presents a rich and varied set of challenges and responsibilities. I am assigned to conduct, implement and maintain tests on phone software. The tests are designed to cover: GUI, System, Call Control, and others. Accomplishments: Continued and completed a Unit Testing Suite. Added instrumentation code to make the automation possible. Designed the “Test Engine” automation tool, which combines Java with various scripting languages to conduct automation of predefined test and user scenarios. Worked to prepare a functional product for release, methodically writing test breakouts and bug reports; identifying the user and determining the amount and severity of bugs entered against a given product. Accomplishments: Successfully accomplished and exceeded all the goals proposed by my team leader, culminating with hire recommendation from my manager. Wrote a Test Design Specification (TDS) that describes the planned test cases for my area. I also automated test using C# and others scripting languages.
