The Sport Fish Africa team went filming and fishing at Hemingways in Kenya in January.
We managed to get two broadbill swordfish on film as well as striped marlin and a number
of sailfish. It was an amazing trip, with non stop action, look out for that episode sometime
in April.

We have just returned from an epic 17 day safari through Namibia and Southern Angola.
We had bad luck with the fishing in Namibia as the weather turned foul on us, but had
some good garrick and shad fishing in southern Angola. We managed to get 18 punctures
on the trip, so now we really appreciate fly in tours!

We will be visiting the new Cuanza river camp in Angola next week. We are hoping to
catch some of those big tarpon on camera. Angola has been getting a lot of rain over the
last few weeks, so we hold thumbs that it hasn’t ruined the fishing. News from the camp is
that the tarpon have been visible, but they are struggling to get them to eat anything.
Hopefully we can change that….

Until next time, keep fishing and catch us on the box.

 The Sport Fish Africa Team.
