1. Introduction
Korea, world’s No.1 shipbuilding country, is leading global shipbuilding and offshore
industry in the world. The Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at
Inha University is recognized as one of the top departments in this education field in
Korea. Department facilities including a circulating water channel, a high speed towing
tank, a structural test equipments, a next generation CAD system and computer
facilities can offer a variety of opportunities for practical experience. Several kinds of
scholarships such as BK21 and industry scholarships are provided.
