Evergreen Private Bank (including its bank branch office, Evergreen Community Bank and its loan production
office, FreedomRoad Financial) collectively referred to in these Terms and Conditions as “Evergreen Bank
Group” or “Bank Group.”
As required, all Evergreen Bank Group customers will be notified of our privacy policies via initial and ongoing
customer privacy disclosures (Initial and Annual Notices). Evergreen Bank Group’s disclosure is also available at all
banking center locations. For more information, please contact one of our banking representatives.
Use, Collection and Retention of Customer Information
Evergreen Bank Group collects, retains and uses information about individual customers only where it is allowed by
law and where Evergreen Bank Group reasonably believes it is useful in administering Evergreen Bank Group’s
business and in providing products, services and other opportunities to our customers. Evergreen Bank Group does not
sell data divulging any specific information about an individual customer’s accounts or transactions. Additionally,
Evergreen Bank Group does not have any future plans to change its policy on selling data. In the event that Evergreen
Bank Group begins to sell customer data, the customer will be notified and given the opportunity to “opt out,”
whereupon that customer’s personal data will not be sold.
Maintenance of Accurate Information
Evergreen Bank Group has established procedures to ensure that its customers' financial information is accurate,
current and complete in accordance with reasonable commercial standards. Evergreen Bank Group will respond in a
timely manner to customer requests to correct inaccurate information.
Limiting Employee Access to Information
Evergreen Bank Group limits access to its customers’ confidential and private information to employees with
legitimate business reasons for knowing such information. Evergreen Bank Group will continue to educate its
employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy. Employees will be appropriately disciplined

Evergreen Bank Group maintains security standards and procedures regarding unauthorized access to customer
Sharing of Information within Evergreen Bank Group
Evergreen Bank Group shares information within our family of companies in order to provide our customers with the
best possible products and services at reasonable prices, and to prevent fraud and criminal activity. Customer
information is not used for sale to third party vendors, without consent from the customer.
Restrictions on the Disclosure of Account Information
Evergreen Bank Group does not reveal specific information about its customers or their transactions to unaffiliated
third parties for their independent use, unless the information is provided:
• to help complete a customer-initiated transaction,
• to help administer Evergreen Bank Group's bona fide business,
• at the customer's request,
• to comply with a legal requirement (i.e., subpoena),
• to a reputable information-reporting agency (i.e., credit bureau) or
• after the customer has been informed about the possibility of such disclosure through a prior communication
and is given the opportunity to decline (i.e., "opt out").
Maintaining Customer Privacy in Business Relationships
Whenever Evergreen Bank Group does provide specifically identifiable customer information to a third party,
Evergreen Bank Group insists through a written agreement that the third party adhere to similar Privacy Policies that
provide for keeping such information confidential.
Special Information Applicable to Electronic (Internet) Bank
both traditional and non-traditional (i.e., Internet) banking activities. However, due to the unique nature of the Internet
and the ease with which information can be exchanged, Evergreen Bank Group feels it is important for customers to be
aware of the unique issues surrounding Internet Banking. Messages sent to Evergreen Bank Group by electronic means
(i.e., "e-mail") are not secure. Evergreen Bank Group recommends that individuals not send any confidential
information to Evergreen Bank Group by e-mail. Individuals accept the risk that this information may be intercepted by
a third party.
To better serve legitimate Internet Banking customers:
Evergreen Bank Group requires customers to utilize specific passwords for access to confidential and private
information. Evergreen Bank Group reminds customers of their responsibility to safeguard User IDs and passwords. In
addition, commercial customers should carefully screen those employees to whom User IDs and passwords are granted.
Evergreen Bank Group utilizes encryption, firewall, router, third party verification procedures and other security
software and hardware to help prevent unauthorized eavesdropping of and access to customers’ confidential and private
information. Evergreen Bank Group utilizes virus protection software to help prevent the spread of computer viruses.
Evergreen Bank Group utilizes “cookies” to help authenticate its customers’ identities and to help facilitate the
exchange of information between Evergreen Bank Group's systems and its customers’ systems. Evergreen Bank Group
reminds all of its customers that links in Evergreen Bank Group’s web sites can be found to web sites not under its
control. These web sites will not necessarily comply with Evergreen Bank Group's “Privacy Principles” and security
standards. Evergreen Bank Group reminds all of its customers that confidential and private information may be
compromised in both traditional and non-traditional banking activities. Evergreen Bank Group can only establish
policies and procedures to help restrict use of and access to confidential and private information. If any Bank customer
believes that confidential and private information has been compromised, please contact Evergreen Bank Group
immediately so that the potential breach can be investigated.
