är underrepresenterade i Lund, 13% mot 17%
i riket.

                                                         6. The Museum of History, established in 1735, is the next
                                                         oldest museum of Nordic archaeology in Sweden. Objects from
                                                         Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages and the oldest human remins in
                                                         Scandinavia, from c. 5000 B.C. The Cathedral Museum is also
                                                         here.
                                                         7. Tegnér Square. Statue of the famus poet Esais Tegnér
                                                         (1782-1846). His house is at St. Gråbrödersgatan 11 and is now
                                                         a museum.
8. Kulturen is one of Sweden´s largest and best open-air

9. The botanimal gardens. Follow Adelgatan, one of Lund´s
most beautiful streets, to ”Botan”. There are more than 7000
plant species here from most of the world´s floral areas. The
greenhouse has nine sektions with different climates.
10. St. Thomas´ Catholic Church, built in 1986.
11. City Theater/the people´s House. Twenty-year anniversary
for the Lund City Theater in 1995. Opposite the entrance is the
Hill fountain.
12. Mårtenstorget Square. The 150-year-old market place, full
of activity, especially on Saturdays.
13. The Art Gallery from 1957. High-quality temporary exhibits.
14. Krognohuset. A medieval house, now an art gallery. In the
14th c. it was part of a larger farm owned by the Krognos family

became forbidden to sell meat and fish outdoors. You can buy
many delicacies here.
16. Stäket from the middle of the 16th c. Since the 1950´s, a

17. The Charles XII House. King Charles XII lived here on and
off between 1716-1718 as he had his headquarters in Lund.
In 1837 the Katherdral School (now one of Lund´s secondary
schools) moved into the premises and is still there.
18. The City park was laid out in the latter part of the 19th c.
There is pleasnt café here. The Högevall, a 460-meter-long
earthen rampart once a part of Lund´s fortifikation system,
runs through the Park. In the southern part of the Park is the
Kulturmejeriet, a music house for young people. A public indoor
pool and Sports Hall are in the northern part.
19. Grand Hotel. A prestigious hotel built in French chateau style
in 1898.
20. Drotten Museum. The remins of one of Lund´s oldest and

It has been in its present location since 1651. The interiör is in
