                                               Gardens. After the tours, we will gather to share a picnic complete with
                                               fresh from the fire corn on the cob. Please bring a snack that showcases

  Sunday Aug. 15th                          Submit a photo of your hands harvesting your

                                            & demonstrate the diversity of our gardeners,
                                        gardens & their harvests. Enter by printing off your
                                              photo & bringing it to the picnic or email us
                                        (jill.pcgn@greenup.on.ca) your photo as a jpg. The
                                        photos will be displayed at the picnic & the winner
                                             will be selected at the picnic by the Network.
                                                       Deadline – Aug. 12th@ 5pm

                                                                            Summer Time is Gleaning Time:
                                                                        The Gleaning Program continues to provide low-income
                                                                          people bus rides to a local farm, in order to pick fresh
                                                                         fruits and vegetables during the summertime. In earlier
                                                                        years, strawberries, raspberries, and corn were available
