TAMPA, Fla.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--The Florida Venture Forum (http://www.floridaventureforum.org)
has changed the date of its Third Annual Early State Venture Capital Conference. The new date is Tuesday, Oct. 5,
2010, with the conference still to be held at the Omni Orlando Resort in ChampionsGate, Fla.
Early stage private companies in all industries from the state of Florida are encouraged to apply to be presenters at
the conference, which will showcase approximately 10-12 early stage, high growth private companies before a
national audience of venture capitalists, angel investors, private equity investors and investment bankers.
These entrepreneurial companies should have talented management teams, proprietary technology and high growth
potential, and should currently be seeking early stage funding. Companies wishing to submit an application to present
at the Conference must e-mail their one-page Executive Summaries (see presenter application at
www.floridaventureforum.org) to Pat Schneider, pat@floridaventureforum.org.
Potential presenters are encouraged to apply by August 31, 2010. The executive summaries will be reviewed by a
selection committee comprised of venture capitalists and private equity investors.
This year’s conference promises to be even more engaging with interaction from the audience. The Conference will
be a half-day afternoon session followed by a cocktail reception.
Sponsorships for the 2010 Early Stage Conference are also available. Sponsorships range from $2,500 (University
Level) to $7,500 (Presenting Level). Details are available on the Florida Venture Forum website. For any questions
