A Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Political Science
at the Department of Political Science, Lund University.
The post can be held for two years and is intended for young researchers.
Job description
This position involves 80 % research and 20 % teaching and also implies active
participation in the department’s research environment.
Qualifications
In order to be eligible a candidate must hold a PhD or equivalent international
doctoral degree. A PhD or equivalent degree in political science is a particularly
useful qualification.
For post-doctoral positions, candidates must have passed their PhD examinations
not more than three years before the application period expires. This three year
limit can be extended if parental leave, illness or equivalent events have occurred
since the PhD was obtained.

Lund University and must have arrived at the Registrar’s Office, Lund University,
Box 117, 221 00 Lund, no later than Monday, 4th January 2010.
All documents must be certified and submitted in three copies.
Lund University has a policy of individually negotiated salaries. Applicants may
state their desired salary in the application.
The Swedish National Archives regulations stipulate that documents submitted
with an application may be destroyed two years after a final decision on
employment has been taken (RA-FS 2004:1). An applicant must apply to have the
documents returned.
