Virtual Job Shadow (VJS) (www.virtualjobshadow.com) gives students the ability to “shadow” individuals on the job without leaving the classroom. The website features numerous “day -in -the – life” video profiles of professionals in different careers. The videos are fast-paced, entertaining and informative, delivered over the Internet via streaming technology. Career Corner TV videotaped Senator Reid at his office in the U.S. Capital Building in Washington D.C. “The best way to prepare yourself for public service is to be a nice person.
