As a Success Coach the number one question I get asked the
most is, “How can I, Mr. and Mrs. Average person, become

Do you have what it takes to be successful? Do you have what it
takes to do what it takes to succeed?

I don’t want you to answer me, I don’t want to hear about it,
words from you are futile at this point in our relationship. I want
to see ACTION. Let your actions speak for you.

People are always so eager to come up to me and attempt to
convince me how badly they want to achieve success, and how
much they deserve to have success in their lives. They are telling
me these things to convince me and persuade me to coach and
mentor them personally.

There is one lesson that I learned the absolute hardest way
possible, and that is people who will work to hard to convince me
they want and deserve success will rarely do anything about it. It
is a sad, cold hard fact. Of course there are exceptions to this
rule, as there are to any rule.

I have learned through my years as a success coach, the people
who are trying hard to convince me, are not so much convincing
me as they are trying to convince and motivate themselves. I
have spent countless hours, weeks, months and in a few cases
years trying to coach these types, and in the end they do not
follow through, they do not maintain high standards and sooner
than later they begin to question me and my abilities. Finally
they quit the program and BLAME me.

Like one of my favorite Authors, and Mentors Donald Trump, I
believe in giving people a second chance, however I tend to give,
third, fourth, fifth, and so on and it ends up biting me in the ass
on more than one occasion.

So in an attempt to avoid getting bit in the ass again I am
choosing to open this book with a self-graded questionnaire to let

you determine if you have what it takes to be successful. Yes
you read that right, SELF GRADED. I am not the one who will
qualify you or disqualify you. You will be the one to do that. If I
say it, you might not believe me, but when you take the test,
answer truthfully, tally the score and see the results yourself, then
you will know for certain if you have what it takes.

To be successful in anything in life you have to be at the top 2%
of the rest of the playing field. You have to be the best of the
best, and if you are not the best of the best you have to be willing
to be coached, mentored, and groomed to be the best. I don’t
care if you are the best of the best at this point, I am more
concerned about your coachability. ARE YOU COACHABLE,
or do you already know it all?

mentor for you and my organization is NOT for you, and most

You don’t get to be in the top by simply being smart, working
hard and making gobs of money. For every successful
multimillionaire I know I have found that they have a system for
their success, they developed or are following a system for
building wealth.

Think about this for a moment, how is that multimillionaire after
multimillionaire can loose their millions a couple times and yet
still manage to build their fortune again and again? When still
yet others don’t seem to be able to build one small fortune to
begin with?

Every single Multimillionaire in network marketing that I know
of personally can loose it all today, be flat broke, in a new city, in
a new country, don’t even speak the language and in 2 shorts
years have $100,000.00 US Dollars a month income, and be well
on their way to rebuilding their million dollar empire.

have the know-how, the skills, the experience and the confidence

That reminds me of a guy I know of. His daughter was having
her sweet sixteen birthday party. She had been expecting her
dream car as a gift from her parents. Her father didn’t want to
just give her the car without teaching her the responsibility that
comes with such a vehicle.

He thought about what he would do for months leading up to his
daughter’s birthday. In a flash he had an inspiration and went to
work on the idea right away, with no time to loose.

He knew that if he just gave the car to his daughter the odds of
her taking it for granted would be high. And in so doing she
would neglect it, not take care of it, and not be responsible.

The day came, the big Sweet Sixteen Birthday party. His
daughter was so excited with all the gifts and friends and family
at her party, but more than that, she was excited about the
thought of her brand new car.

She got to the smallest gift on the gift table, the last gift, it was
from her dad. At first she was disappointed thinking the box
contained a necklace, or a watch. She quickly ripped off the
wrapping, and opened the box and there inside were the keys to
her car.

Her dad gestured to the garage, and she ran to see her new car.
The swung the door open and standing in the doorway she was
speechless, shocked beyond belief. There in the garage was her

brand new car in pieces. The whole car had been disassembled
and in pieces on the garage floor.

She stood motionless at first, feelings of rage and anger begin to
fill her, she quieted the emotions inside, smiled and thanked her
father with a big hug and a kiss.

She told her dad she will get started right away.

Rather than hire someone to reassemble her car for her, she
decided to assemble the car on her own, it took her the better half
of the summer but when she was done, she had learned
everything she needed to know about her car. She had learned
how to care for it, how to repair it, how to drive it and most
importantly how to respect the gift she had been given, the gift of
opportunity and knowledge.

To this day she still owns that car, it’s in
perfect running condition and well taken care

Southeast Asia is the hub of the orient, with over five hundred
million people and growing, presenting a Golden Opportunity to
create wealth beyond belief.

I have had the pleasure of living in Southeast Asia now for just
over three years, and one thing I have noticed that stands head
and shoulders above every thing else is the indestructible spirit of
the people. The people of Southeast Asia are resilient beyond
compare, and they are resourceful.

There are so many wonders and so much beauty in Southeast
Asia; to me the most wondrous and beautiful is the undying spirit
of the people.

In the face of unimaginable hardships these people rise above it
all and maintain a positive attitude and stay focused on their
goals.

explain a little something about myself. I love to read, and love to
learn new things, and in my never ending quest for answers and
to put my coaching methods into a mathematical formula I have
begun studying physics. I am no physics master by any stretch of
the imagination, however I have made some pretty interesting
discoveries, one of those discoveries is this.

This is exactly why Southeast Asia is a great place to build your
Agel business. Once you fully understand this formula you can
use it to transform your business exponentially.

When you are looking for the right kinds of people to work with
you want to keep in mind to be looking for people who use their
H.E.A.D. people that embody this formula, and in Southeast Asia
I have found the majority of the people are living, breathing,
walking, talking, and shining examples of this formula.

O.K. I have to confess to you, this isn’t exactly a physics

in mind the formula is real, and potentially very powerful to you
and your organization.

You’ll want to keep the formula and acronym in mind when you
are looking for leaders in your organization. These are the
people that will be your ideal networkers, the people that will
ignite your business and light it up like after burners on a fighter

HONOR

The people of Southeast Asia are steeped in honor, everything
about their society, their past and their future is rich with honor.
They bring a sense of honor to everything they do. It is more
than pride and singing their work with excellence, it is a matter of
honor to themselves and more importantly to their family. They
do not want to disgrace their family name by exhibiting a lack of
honor. If you look hard enough you can find this sense of honor
in just about any place on earth; however I have found that no
one place demonstrates this key characteristic more consistently
and with more profound affects than Southeast Asia. Everything
about their culture permeates this sense of honor, even from the
earliest writings, you can see it in the attention to detail on their
temples, hear about it in the stories; honor is the bedrock of their
existence.

Humility is also in their culture, rarely will you ever see the
people brining undue attention to themselves, they have a quiet
disposition and maintain a strong sense of humility in everything
they do. To find the people to be boastful and loud and
outspoken about all they have accomplished is not the norm in
Southeast Asia. Yes they celebrate successes, and yes they
rejoice in work well done, but they are also very humble about it.

Humility is important in your network marketing business,
because it is hard to build a successful organization when
people’s egos keep getting in the way and interfering with the
work that needs to be done.

You find people in other parts of the world, with seemingly
everything they could ask for finding unique ways to destroy
their lives; with the over medication of the world today from
neuro-inhibitors and enhancers, serotonin blockers and on and on
and on, people in mass finding reasons to be unhappy and
depressed.

Today you can find a new type of Yoga, Laughter Yoga, and
guess where it came from, I’ll give you three guesses.

Where else other than Southeast Asia?

These are people that live to ripe old age, 80’s and 90’s with
more toxins in the water and air than you can shake a stick at, and
what is their secret weapon against the effects of aging and
disease? Among other things I have to point the finger at
HUMOR. They can find humor in just about anything, with so
much to not be happy about, they have the unique ability to block
out the negative and be happy, and humorous and laugh often.

Southeast Asia a place where people work hard and play even
harder, have to maintain a great sense of humor or by any other
standards go crazy.

You wonder why Karaoke is so popular is Southeast Asia? It is a
great outlet, an opportunity to be happy, and sing, and brush of
the stresses of the day, and a great way to find humor in all they
do. Believe me, coming from the states the whole Karaoke thing
takes some getting used to, many, many, many people that have
no business holding a microphone and singing in public
according to my standards, have no problem singing their hearts
out in the middle of the mall. And the people walking by love,
enjoy and appreciate it, no matter how good or how bad the
singer is.

It is important to be able to find humor in the things you do, and
the things around you, it is important for your mental health and
personal wellbeing that is a proven fact. All you have to do is
spend a few months in Southeast Asia and you can see that to be
self evident.

      E4 = Education, Experience, Execution,
                   Enthusiasm.
EDUCATION

Education in Southeast Asia is important to them, they respect
and take their education seriously, whether it is in a formal
classroom or through life’s University of Hard Knocks. They
know the power of education and work hard and study hard.

Having come from the states and seeing how most people there
waste and take for granted their education, I was not prepared for
the serious attitude regarding education here in Southeast Asia.

In the states it is not uncommon for student to party, drink
experiment with recreational drugs and practically fail their way
through school. Student graduate with low grade point averages
and get high paying jobs and they don’t really know what they
studied for the last four or five years.

Not the case in Southeast Asia, the student can enter college as
young as 16 years old, and graduate before they are 21, they
don’t drink, don’t party, don’t use recreational drugs, they go to
school and work hard, study hard and get high grades as a result,
only to graduate and earn a fraction of what the average party
animal in the states would earn in the same job.

Even if they don’t have a formal school education,
apprenticeships are common occurrences here. It is not
uncommon to find a young man or woman spending many hours
a day for years on end, earning very little just for the opportunity
to study with someone with great skill, in the hopes that they too
will one day be as good as their mentor, and carry on his legacy.

This presents a golden opportunity in and of itself in your
organization, you will be building an organization with people
that are already accustomed to being mentored, and being
groomed to assume positions of great skill and talent. People that
are ready and willing to take and receive instruction and follow a
system of duplication and success, are exactly the kinds of people
you want in your organization. Who could ask for a better group
of people to work with?

EXPERIENCE

Again like education, experience is important and in some cases
experience is more important than education. What good is the
best education in the world without real word applications and
experience?

The people of Southeast Asia in many cases have to work many
jobs to support their education, be it formal or other wise, so by
the time they graduate they have four years education and in
many cases 4 years experience as well.

Many times when I am asked to consult with companies I find
the Executive who is hiring me has a PhD. and a couple masters
degrees and very little experience during his time in the work
force. I find the average President I am working with has been in
the position for ten or more years, but rather than having ten
years experience, he or she only has one or two years of

experience repeated over and over and over throughout their
decade in the position.

They are still running into and dealing with the same issues they
had to deal with in their first year or two in that position.

I don’t typically find that to be the case here in Southeast Asia,
the people are used to thinking outside the box, used to learning
and compounding that education and expanding their knowledge
base and experience. They come across a problem today, learn
how to overcome and effective handle that situation and then
systematize the solution and teach it to their organization and
know instinctively what to do in the future if that problem should
arise again.

Tell me honestly, look me in the eye right now and tell me that is
NOT your ideal network marketing in the making right there.

EXECUTION

Hand in hand with education and experience is EXECUTION, all
the planning, day dreaming, experience and education in the
world means nothing without the ability to effectively execute the
plan, without the ability to get the plan into action and
accomplish the goal.

Without Massive Congruent Action nothing is really going to get
done.

As you might have guessed by now, I can give you example after
example after example of massive action. Executing their plan
with a vigor and excitement that would boggle your mind
literally, here let me give you an example.

In the states it is not uncommon to see multiple construction sites
building homes to offices as well as maintaining the roads,
construction every where you look. The cities used to put up
warning signs at these construction sites that read, “SLOW MEN
AT WORK.” Many a comedian has made his mark with these
self evident comedic reminders.

The joke is that the men are working so slow, that the
construction seems to take forever, a never ending construction
site, be it buildings, or road work it seem
the progress is incremental at best.

Last time I was in the states these warning
signs have been changed, no longer reads
“slow men at work.”

In Southeast Asian this is not the case,
buildings go up fast, I can come for a visit
see a new construction sight for a 40 story
building and it seems like in no time the
building is complete and occupied by my
next visit.

Road work is done in no time flat, and housing projects are built
and occupied in the same manner, businesses are constructed and
shopping malls erected in record breaking time frames.

And this is not just visible in the large scale projects, people in
their personal lives and small business owners and workers have
the same results. These are a large group of people that fully
understand the power of execution of plans, they don’t waste a
lot of time sitting around in contemplation they take immediate
action towards the attainment of their goals.

Again, I dare you to tell me this is not another trait you wish your
organization had as its bedrock foundation.

Enthusiasm
To obtain enthusiasm it won’t cost you a dime and it doesn’t
require you to have any special skills. Free to the world, it’s
yours the moment you choose to wrap your arms around it.

I have given talks to literally thousands of people, coached and
motivated and worked with people to unlock their unbridled
enthusiasm. I have found in my study of success when people
finally unlock their vault of enthusiasm their world changes for
the better almost instantly. Their problems turn into
opportunities and the challenges become a blank canvass upon
which they begin create new vision for their future.

I hear excuses all the time about how they can’t get enthusiastic
because of this, and that and the other thing. People coming up
to me at my seminars telling me how moving my talk was b-b-b-
b-u-u-u-u-t-t-t-t-t their circumstances are extraordinary, and if I
knew their story I would change my opinion accordingly.

I have lived here in Southeast Asia for over three years, and I can
tell you from first hand experience, these people can find their
reason for being enthusiastic about what they do no matter what.
It is like enthusiasm infuses them with a heightened sense of
purpose; this heightened sense of purpose doesn’t leave room for
failure. It is as though their levels of enthusiasm provide them
with the necessary immunity against setbacks, hardships,
obstacles, and road blocks that may stand in their way.

Most importantly their enthusiasm is contagious and it draws
other people to them. People feel good when they are around

someone who is enthusiastic, people gravitate towards them and
want to be around them.

Enthusiasm is one of the key ingredients for success, and it is
inherent in the people of Southeast Asia.

          A3 = Ambition, Ability, Attitude.
AMBITION

In Southeast Asia people are overflowing with ambition; they
have a strong drive to succeed and to accomplish their goals.
What pushes them onward to success is their focus on a single
predetermined outcome, and they don’t let go of their goal until
they have achieved it.

There is never any lack of ambition when your goal and your
reason for achieving that goal is compelling enough. When it
comes to Southeast Asia the realities of daily life for most people
can be a very compelling reason to succeed. Daily life here can
be hard and harsh, the realities of pain and suffering are thrust
upon them at every turn and every opportunity, that alone can be
very compelling.

I highly recommend you stop following goals you're reluctant to
pursue. Find goals that will keep you awake at night with
excitement. If your goals and compelling reason why you want
those goals doesn’t keep you awake at night it might be time to
find a new goal.

You see it all the time in the movies, the young hero has a goal, a
burning desire for something, the camera starts far off as our hero
is lying in bed in the middle of the night with the stars shining
brightly, the moon is full and illuminating the sky. The camera

slowing zooms in as we watch the scene from our hero’s vision
play out across the screen, so excited and eager from his vision
he decides he can’t sleep so off he goes in search of his goal.

That should be you! Especially with a MULTI-NATIONAL
BUSINESS LIKE AGEL, you can be earning, 24 hours a day,
while you are sleeping someone somewhere half way around the
planet is awake and working in your organization.

I have found in most people that I meet here in Southeast Asia,
they are ambitious, they decide on a goal and they go for it all
out, they don’t think about what the world expects instead they
focus on what they want.

It is said that when you have a strong enough ambition you will
either find away or make a way, the people of Southeast Asia are
living proof of that axiom.

ABILITY

Many times in the past twenty plus years of my coaching career I
have seen people with phenomenal abilities, people that when
shortly after you meet them you’d think they could single
handedly accomplish anything they set their sights on. Weeks,
months, years go by and they don’t seem to be accomplishing
much they seem to be living lives of quiet desperation.

I have found that greatness is more times than not results not
from extraordinary ability, but rather from ordinary ability
followed through with extraordinary determination and drive.

Extraordinary ability is a rare and awesome gift, by itself it’s
probably not going to get you very far. With the right vision, the
right ingredients, any shortage of ability can be overcome.

Southeast Asia is overflowing with people that have not only the
ability, but also the drive, focus, and other ingredients to turn
their abilities into something great.

Almost everyone that I have met has plenty of passion, mostly
finding someone with passion is not the hard part, the hard part is
to uncover their passion because the identity of that passion is
hidden.

The people of Southeast Asia understand and solidly connect
with their passion, as a result they possess an unyielding level of
commitment to fulfilling that passion more so than any other
single group of people that I have met.

ATTITUDE

When you have the attitude that life, the universe, the world, your
community owes you something for nothing, you are about to
experience disappointment. This is not always so true in other
places in the world that I have traveled. However in Southeast
Asia I don’t meet too many people that think anyone or anything
owes them a thing. They know that they must go out there and
make it happen, waiting for someone to make it happen for them,
is not in their mindset. They have a positive can do attitude, an
attitude that says, if it is to be mine I must make it happen.

They manage to keep themselves positive and upbeat despite the
people are negative and trying to steal their dreams. They don’t
typically need seminars on how to maintain a positive attitude
with so much poverty and despair and negativity around them.

These people seem to know inherently that a positive attitude is
not a reaction to the way things are, it is a choice of thought, it is
a choice of action, it is the how they to see the world; in a
positive light.

They don’t see their world unrealistically, or naively, in fact they
are very much grounded with the reality of the way life is;
however they have a solid foundation for making real
improvements in their world and creating meaningful value from
their experiences because of their attitude.

Having a great attitude allows them to see and to make the most
of opportunities that remain invisible to those with a negative
attitude. Having a good outlook and a great attitude gives them
the energy to move forward no matter what the obstacles may be.

The people of Southeast Asia know that no matter what their
current situation may be, they can always choose a positive
attitude.

            D3 = Desire, Drive, Dedication.
DESIRE

Without desire, or more importantly without a burning desire it is
almost impossible to achieve anything of value. It is not
uncommon to see people without a burning desire walking
around as if nothing matters, I call them the walking dead, or
zombies. You can see in them the burning flame of desire has
been blown out, like a pilot light on a gas burning stove.

I find people everyday that have a burning desire to achieve, to
succeed and to do, have and become more. These people are a
networkers dream come true, you don’t have to light their pilot
light, because if their pilot light to their burning desire goes out
they reignite it themselves.

YES, you read that right, THEY IGNITE IT THEMSELVES.

Let me as you, yes you the one reading these words now, how
many times have you wished to find people like this for your
organization instead of the ones currently that need to be
prodded, and pushed, and dragged and need to have their pilot
lights lit four or fives times a week?

Desire is another major key to success and achievement, without
desire it is almost impossible to achieve success. A burning
desire is that driving force that can propel you like a rocket past
and through obstacles that come along.

People of Southeast Asia are ignited with both burners lit, idling
on the runway just waiting to blast off down the runway and
launch. You don’t have to ignite them, you don’t have to
motivate them, you just point them in the right direction and they
take off like a fighter jet and will destroy any obstacle in their
way.

DRIVE

Having the necessary drive that can carry you onward to success
can at times be elusive. Finding people for your organization
with the necessary drive to carry on in the face of hardships and
tough times can be even more elusive.

A major component of success is the drive needed to push
forward no matter what is going on around you. Having the drive
to cross the finish line is a character quality we should all
possess. You hear about it, you read about it, you from time to
time experience it; what would happen if you were to meet a
group of people that embody this principle daily? What could
happen to your organization if you were to have these people
with you?

Are you starting to think of the possibilities?

If you are like me living in Southeast Asia, then these are the
people that surround you on a daily basis, they are driven,
focused, and motivated, constantly moving forward towards their
goals.

Again, these are not people that you need to put the key in the
ignition, turn the key and try to get their engine started, their
engines are started and in many cases already modified with
turbo boosters, and super chargers and finely tuned up just
waiting for your opportunity to come along and give them a
destination, a finish line, a goal they can become excited about.

DEDICATION

The last element is dedication. Anyone can get excited with
enough stimulation and inducement that may be enough to get a
person started but it is not enough to keep them going.
Dedication is the necessary element to keep you going onward
when it is an up hill climb.

Dedication to a single purpose and goal keeps you going long
after the excitement has worn off. Keeping dedicated to a single
focus takes effort, takes repetition, it takes a special kind of
person to remain dedicated to a goal long after the thrill and
excitement has faded.

It is common place to hear about how so-and-so left a
relationship either with a spouse or company when they ran into
hard times. It is more difficult to come across stories of how
someone had remained dedicated despite all the hardships.

Do a search online, or read autobiographies of some of the

Who would have ever thought Walt Disney could ever pull of his
greatest dream ever and create Disney Land in the middle of an
orange grove in Southern California? Then repeat that success in
Florida, and then again another one in Hong Kong and Japan.
When he first had his dream he was laughed at and the banks
turned him down it seemed no one was willing to back his idea.

If you absolutely knew without a doubt you could not fail what
would you accomplish? Your goal of a simple one hundred
thousand dollars a month seems quite small by comparison.

Story Time:

There once was a young monk who wanted to become a master,
he wanted to be the wisest master of them all. The young monk

set out on his quest for wisdom. Along the way he encountered
many masters, he would for a short time study with them before
he would set out again in search of wisdom.

One day he heard of a great and wise master that lived near the
foot of a mountain. With that the young monk began the long
journey to the base of the mountain.

When he arrived to a village at the base of the mountain he began
to inquire with the local people about the great master he had
heard of. He could not find a single person that knew of the
master he was in search of.

He began to doubt the validity of the story.

On his way out of the village he came to a river and decided to
walk along the banks of the river to clear his mind.

Not long after, a monk came walking along the same bank of the
river. The young monk thinking this elder monk surely would
know of the master he is in search of.

He inquired of the elder monk of where he could find the great
master to teach him wisdom. The elder monk replied he knew
nothing of the master he was seeking. Just before the young
monk was about to walk away, the elder monk said, but I do
know the secret to obtaining wisdom.

The young monk looked at the elder monk and replied, “How can
you, just a lowly monk know of such things?”

The elder monk shrugged his shoulders and said, “well, if you
don’t want to know that is your choice.”

The younger monk couldn’t hold back, he came to the elder
monk and said if you truly know the secret then share it with me
now.

The elder monk agreed, and with that he instructed the young
monk to follow him into the river. They walked together into the
river and stopped when the water was just above their knees, the
elder monk then instructed the young monk to kneel down in the
river.

Still a little doubtful, the younger monk did as he was requested.

The elder monk put his hand on the younger monk’s head and
immediately pushed him under water. At first the younger monk
did not struggle, he remained calm thinking the elder monk might
be trying to test him. He was held under water for a couple
minutes before he began to think that maybe the elder monk
might be trying to kill him. Maybe the elder monk is jealous of
the wisdom the younger monk had accumulated at such a young
age.

Before much longer the younger monk began to panic. He began
to fight desperately to break the elder monk’s hold on him, but
the grip of the elder monk was unbreakable. The younger monk
fought with all his might, his mind racing trying to make sense of
the situation. His lungs began to burn, he could feel himself
slipping out of consciousness, in one last effort he fought, again
to no avail.

Suddenly the elder monk pulled the young monk to his feet. The
young monk gasping for breath stumbled back to the shore to get
as far from the elder monk as he could. When he caught his
breath he yelled at the monk, “are you crazy? You could have
killed me.”

The elder monk replied, “I thought you wanted to know the
secret to wisdom, rather than tell you, I decided it might be easier
to show you.” The younger monk argued, “you almost killed me
you crazy old fool; what lesson could you teach me by almost
killing me?”

The elder monk smiled and said, “My young friend, when you
want wisdom as badly as you wanted air a moment ago, then you
will find wisdom you seek.” And the elder monk walked off
toward the mountain.

                         Seeking Success
Much like that monk in search of wisdom, you are in search of
success and wealth. Along the way you have read books about it,
heard speakers talk about it, seen DVDs and movies about it, and
might have even sat down with millionaires and talked about it,
but yet you are still in search of it.

When you want your goals as badly as that young monk wanted
air, it is my guess you will then find the secret to wealth in
everything you see, and in everywhere you go.

Since you are here and now reading this book, I strongly suggest
you keep reading, because that which you search for could quite
possibly be right under your nose at this very moment.

Like that monk seeking out a master to teach him, you too will
need to find a mentor that can teach you and coach you and
nurture you along your path to success.

of which one to work with can be a bit over whelming. Not like

What if you did not do it in 12 months, what if it took you 24
months, or even 48 months? Would you do it, or would you
simply quit after 12 months?

             NOT Get Rich Quick Scheme
Remember network marketing is NOT a get rich quick scheme, it
is a get wealthy faster opportunity, much more of an opportunity
than you currently have with your employer. It most definitely is
NOT a get rich quick scheme.

It is going to take time, that is why you will hear me and other
industry leaders recommending you have a two to four year plan.
You can literally make your goal a reality in that time frame if
you follow the step-by-step system.

Following the system is not going to make building your business
easy, it will make it easier! Following the system gives you a
road map leading to your destination, but you still have to do the
work that is required along the way.

    Stopping Half Way Doesn’t Mean I Have
                   Arrived
Lets say I get in my car and plan to drive from Bangkok to Ho
Chi Minh City it would be a good idea to get a map so I know the
route I will need to take to get there. Just because I have a car,
gas in the car, money to buy more gas, and a map doesn’t mean I
don’t have to do anything else. I still have to get in my car, start
the engine, drive, avoid obstacles that may pop up, continue
along the route until I reach Ho Chi Minh City.

Let me say that one more time.

If I stop half way to Ho Chi Minh, City I WILL NOT BE IN

Most people don’t understand that principle when it comes to
success, they think because they have a plan, a vehicle and some
cash they can set out on their journey to success, and stop half
way and still expect to arrive at success. It doesn’t work that
way.

Some times the map might not show or indicate all the detours
and road blocks due to construction along the way, it will
however give you a precise route to take, but you have to be
ready for the little detours that you may encounter along the way.

The same is true with success. Your mentors can be the ones to
guide you, give you directions, but they can’t anticipate every
little bump in the road, that is for you and your learning process
to cope with.

For most of network marketers, making $100,000.00 a month is
going to be next to impossible, NOT impossible, in my opinion
next to it. There are more ways to NOT get paid in the average
compensation plan than there are ways to actually get paid, with
all the break-a-ways, the compressions, the matrix, and the uni-
level plans there is more money left in the company’s system
then there is in your pocket. Of course the company needs to
make money, which is why they’re in business; however you as
the distributor should be well rewarded for your efforts.

     80/20 Rule With a Twist Turns Home Based
          Business Into Home Based Prison

In other compensation plans that I have seen over the years it is
not uncommon to have as much as 80% of the networkers NOT
making much money, so that means the top 20% of the
networkers in that compensation plan will be getting richer and
richer and the bottom 20% dropping out or barreling making it.

In order to get paid in any organization you need to have
purchases, not one time or occasional, you need to have a
monthly volume to sustain your income. With some companies,
I see representatives frantically racing around contacting all their
local representatives, or locking themselves in their home office,
turned home prison for the last 10 days of every moth making
sure their downline has made a monthly purchase so they can
receive a check at the beginning of the next month.

Auto-ship is the answer to this problem. When you have your
organization on auto-ship yours and your organization’s income
will be set to auto-pilot.

   Autoship is Like Having a License to Print
                    Money
Think of it this way. You have a brick and mortar store built in
your local neighborhood, and your store is a general
merchandising store, you stock and sell many things your
neighbors would need and like to use on a monthly basis. Instead
of them having to come to your store and shop for the things they
want or need, they simply choose from a list of things they will
need each month and have it delivered to their doorstep. And
they agree to do this for an extended period of time.

How much more successful could your local store become if that
were the case? Instead of your customers only buying based on

Thomas Edison dreamed of a lamp that could be operated by
electricity, began where he stood to put his dream into action, and
despite more than ten thousand failures, he stood by that dream

  DREAM BIG OR DON’T DREAM AT ALL
People dream about having Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys,
they dream of having huge mansions, they dream of having three

or four homes in three or four countries, but the moment I
mention one hundred thousand dollars a month they check out.
That tells me they have no idea what it takes to own a Ferrari,
Lamborghini, Bentley, or multiple mansions.

If you are earning $100,000.00 USD a month it will take you a
minimum of five months to earn enough money to purchase any
one of those vehicles and over ONE YEAR to earn enough
money to purchase a small mansion, medium sized house in
California, and not enough to buy a condo in some of the world’s
top high-rise buildings if you were to pay cash. (minus taxes of
course.)

One hundred thousand dollars a month at the end of one year you
would have earned One Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,200,000.00). Even though that is a substantial income, it is
clearly NOT enough for you to comfortably buy a Ferrari Enzo at
a price tag of about $1,000,000.00 USD.

Making one hundred thousand dollars a month has got to begin in
your mind and you must BELIEVE YOU CAN DO IT before
you even have the least remote possibility of achieving that goal.

really what is holding people back? Dreaming doesn’t cost
anything, it is free, and no one can tell what is in your mind. I
have never seen anyone run up to another person and point their
finger and say, “I know what you are thinking, you are thinking
you can be wealthy enough to buy a jet, a sports car, mansions
and yachts.” You’re kidding yourself that will never happen for
you because you are a looser. That is never gonna happen
because no one can read your mind.

There are many excuses and stories people will come up with
justify their lack of dreaming big, but the bare bones truth of it is
THEY ARE TOO SCARED to even DREAM. Too scared to
dream? To me that is ridiculous because dreaming costs you
nothing, and you can do it anytime, anyplace.

Most people are too afraid of rejection and ridicule to go for their
grandest dreams. They justify in their mind how an extra one

                          Study Do Teach
There's a time to dream, there’s a time to research, there’s a time
to question. And there’s a time to wake up from your dream and
do the work that will make your dreams a reality.

Along your way to success you will be learning a lot, most people
will want to take a timeout and study the materials, the brochures
and all the written materials before they begin. They want to be
the expert before they start.

This is not necessary; being the expert in this industry is not
required for success. You don’t have all the answers, let the
tools do the work for you, let your sponsor and upline handle that
for you. Your job in the beginning is to study a little, do what
you have learned and immediately teach the people you sponsor
to do the same.

Repeat the mantra, STUDY-DO-TEACH over and over until it is
a reflex action, when someone asks you what they need to do
next, you reply study-do-teach. It will create the duplication you
are looking for in your organization and assure everyone is on
the same page; working together for a common goal.

 Your dream might seem impossible at first; you might hear a
little voice in the back of your mind telling you that you can’t do
it. You must begin to work on the attainment of your dreams
ASAP.

Imagine a rocket launching into outer space, it is said that the
rocket will burn up over half its fuel during takeoff and breaking
out of the earth’s atmosphere. The rest of the journey takes quite

Your business is much like that analogy. It will take a lot of

          Keep Your Dream Alive

How do can you turn your dreams into reality? How do can you
step outside the circle of influence that constantly directs you?
The average person’s mind is so strongly influenced by their
environment that it is easy to lose touch with their DREAM.

Have a compelling reason why you want to achieve your goals
and dreams. When you have a big enough why, it becomes
easier to overcome obstacles and road blocks.

Once you have a dream and start on your road to achieving that
dream things can get in your way and distract you, and if you are
not careful your dream may be stolen or fade away and or die.

How does this happen?

Quite often it is because you did not nurture, feed, and protect
your dream from the dream stealers. The dream stealers many
times can be your family and friends, they don’t mean to steal
your dreams, they are only looking out for your best interest or so
they think.

Your compelling reason why will get you through the forest of
dream stealers and keep your dream alive and vivid in your
mind’s eye.

To keep your dreams alive, start by writing out our dreams in
detail, be as specific and sensory rich as you possibly can. This
way you are painting vivid word pictures for your mind to grasp
on to as a reference point, giving your mind a specific goal and
direction to travel.

Next get pictures of your goals, cut them out of magazines, get

Three times a day minimum you should be rehearsing in your
mind the attainment of your goals and dreams. You are teaching
your mind to recognize success, to recognize what it feel like to
have achieved your dreams. Make this a mini movie in your
mind’s eye yourself achieving your dream.

Write out your plan for success, a step by step plan and chart
your course on your plan so you always know where you are now
in relationship to the attainment of your goals and dreams.

Create a daily action plan that you can easily follow that will
encourage you to take more and more steps towards your dreams.

It is important that you refuse to participate in activities, thoughts
or actions that drain your energy or limit your dream. Cut out the
bad habits that get in the way of your dreams and goals.

The most important is never ever give up no matter what!

The key to keeping their dreams alive is to assist your
representatives to earning money as soon as possible. When they
can see the opportunity is real and it is beginning to pay them

1.   Carry a reminder of the amount of money you want to attain in
     the form of check written out to yourself, or with printed million
     dollar bills.

2.   If you have a specific kind of car as your goal play a game
     throughout your day and see how many times you can spot the
     kind of car you want everywhere you are.

3.   Vividly picture in your mind that you are already in possession of
     the goal and dream, and step into that dream for a few minutes
     each day and fully experience the goal and dream as being real
     and now.

4.   Dress for success in all that you do for a day. Take one day and
     dress as if you are the successful person in your dreams. For
     example when I was first training my mind for success what I

     wanted was to be member of a country club and play tennis and
     enjoy the finer things in life. I would take a day and dress for

     pants. Everyone I met at the country club did not know I was I
     guest and not a member it really made me feel like my dream was
     real and attainable.

5.   Take a day or half a day off and watch movies about success.
     Movies like Secret of my Success with Michael J. Fox, When
     Opportunity Knocks with Dana Carvey, Pursuit of Happiness
     with Will Smith, The Legend of Bagger Vance with Will Smith,
     The Kid with Bruce Willis, Mr. Destiny with Jim Belushi, Fun
     With Dick and Jane with Jim Carrey, I am sure you can think of
     others.

6.   Reward yourself with success vouchers for milestones along your
     way to achieving your goals.

7.   If you are interested in a new car, buy a key chain with the car
     logo on it, so every time you get your keys out to drive your car
     you are reminded of your dream car.

8.   When faced with a situation or road black along life’s highway
     ask yourself what would the successful you do in this situation?

9.   Take a picture of you next to your dream house, dream car,
     dream item, or with your mentors and successful people you
     meet.

10. Read magazines about success, magazines like Billionaire,
    Millionaire, Robb Report, Unique Homes, in Hong Kong I have
    seen Capital CEO, and Capital Entrepreneur magazines.

11. Read biographies of successful people, study their biographies
    and learn their lessons and follow their examples.

      Finding the Right Mentors &
                Partners
If you study the biographies of great men and women you will
begin to notice they were mentored and coached to greatness.
Therefore it only stands to reason that should you want the same
levels of success in your life that you too should find a mentor, or
mentors and coaches.

In network marketing you should expect to be working with your
coach or mentor not less than a minimum of two years, should be
longer for best results. Some mentors can last a life time, many
years growing and learning and sharing.

Looking for a mentor you’re looking for more than just simple
answers to your questions and obstacles. You want a mentoring
relationship with someone who can coach you to success. These
types of relationships aren’t cheap, but they are much less
expensive than the alternative schooling you will receive without
a mentor, as you experience lost dreams, failed attempts, and the
ultimate cost, the lost earnings you could have had by working
with a coach.

Think about this for a moment. Where could you be right now
today had you had the right coach working with you, guiding
you, teaching you the right steps to take to become successful?

What if your mentor and coach is actually working with you in a
network marketing company? What if they were able to be

   Not just being able to meet your developmental needs, you will

   personal satisfaction from seeing others succeed and have a
   desire to be active participants in others' learning and growth.

          Your System for Success

Success leaves clues and if you are diligent you can identify these
clues and see a pattern start to emerge. That pattern is the
foundation for the formula for success.

In life and business there are paths to success and paths to failure.
Every self made success that I know of had a system, a system
they knew they could without a doubt apply time and time again
no matter what the situation.

Every success story I know of that made their millions in network
marketing also have a system, a specific formula for success.
These people know without a doubt that if everything came
crashing down around them they could rebuild their financial
empire quickly because they have the system and formula for
their success.

Believe it or not you have a system right now and every day you
are operating according to your system. You either have a
system for success, or you have a system for failure. If you are
consistently experiencing failures one after another the odds are
you are following a system for failure

Now is the time to break that cycle and begin following a new
system, a system labeled success.

Remember, success breeds success, and likewise, failure breeds
failure.

For most people it is a little difficult to identify their system
because when then experience failure they stop, they try to avoid

letting others know about it. Then they won’t try again for a few

In Southeast Asia this is common to see people on this cycle not
because of pride but rather because they do not want to bring
shame to their family.

The entrepreneurs know failure is not shame, it is a fact of life.
We will fail and we will succeed, the key is not to quit trying
after a failed attempt.

                       And Baby Makes 7
 I know of a man who lives not to far from me who works in his
family’s business. The business was experiencing some
increased success sale were up and he was experiencing an
increased income. His wife just had a new baby, with three
children, 2 housekeepers him and his wife the family had clearly
out grown their vehicle so he surprised his wife with her dream
car, a Toyota Fortuner.

They would drive by my house often always looking for a reason
to get out and drive. I was happy to see they were experiencing
success and able to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

A few months go by and suddenly I don’t see my neighbor in
their new SUV any more, as a matter of fact I don’t see my
neighbor at all. I began to think that maybe they had moved to a
bigger home closer to his office.

One day I hear through the grape vine that their vehicle was
taken back by the bank, and because of the shame he and his
family are to shy to come out of their house as often.

Yes it can be embarrassing, it can be a little uncomfortable when

I have had my share of set backs and disappointments believe
me, which is why I prefer to pay cash for my cars and homes. If
I experience a reversal of income I don’t want to loose my mode
of transportation or my home.

I am not alone in experiencing failures, the best and wealthiest
people in the world not only experience many successes they also
experience many failures.

The system for success, is quite simple; EXPERIENCE MORE
FAILURES MORE OFTEN on your path to creating success.

Edison was once asked of his 1,000 failures on his journey to
creating the light bulb, ("I didn't fail 1,000 times," he told a
reporter. "The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps.")
Edison clearly had far more failures than his 1093 patents.

Sir Richard Branson, another example of failing till you succeed.
The media thinks its interesting to try and put a lot of focus on
Branson’s failures and claim he is “hiding his failures” because
he doesn’t talk about them ALL THE TIME. That is how
successful people are, they don’t focus on the negative, they
don’t have time to sit around and whine and cry over failure.
People that understand success know failure is also apart of the
equation and then don’t let failure get in their way.

Michael Jordan in his famous poster “I Succeed” in my opinion
every single person should have that poster framed and on
display in their homes and offices. Anyone who thinks they can
be successful and never have a failure is delusional.

   Having a solid, simple and duplicate-able system is the best way
   to ensure success. Most people that get involved in your
   company will probably start off as part time. That means they

   hours a week each is not just 100 man hours, it begins to
   compound and the work accomplished is closer to 200 or more
   man hours accomplished.

   One person working 100 man hours a week will not accomplish
   one hundred man hours of work due to the Law of Diminishing
   Returns.

   People Leverage: Will they be able to leverage the work and
   ideas of others in a meaningful way, to create a synergistic
   balance where everyone succeeds.

2. Predictability

   Future Business Growth: This is being able to predict the long
   term and short term of the business growth and how to maximize
   your returns based on this prediction.

   Future Earnings Potential: Not just based on business growth
   or history, this is based on product placement, market
   penetration, and market trends.

   Future Market Trends: Earning potential might seem dismal
   based on past track record; however, based on future trends sales
   may be on the rise.

  Break Even Point: How long will it take you to break even in
  your business? In same cases with slow growth matured
  companies this one of the most important factors to consider.
  With companies that require you to purchase books, tapes, attend
  functions and fake it till you make it advice it could realistically
  take you years just to break even.

  How Soon Can You Expect Start Earning: This is a critical
  factor in working with a network marketing company, or any
  company for that matter. If you started working for a traditional
  company with a lucrative salary and great compensation package
  but you didn’t get paid for the first three years, or even the first
  90 days I am pretty sure you would find another company
  network marketing or not.

  The Monthly Costs of Doing Business: This is taking into
  consideration all your business expenses. Travel, lodging,
  brochures, web sites, business cards, the list goes on and on. It is
  important for your family’s peace of mind that you know these
  costs and can become profitable in a short period of time.

4. Partners

  Assess Your Strengths and Weaknesses: You need to take a
  long hard look at yourself and accurately access your strengths
  and weaknesses.

  Find a Partner That is Strong Where Your Are Weak:
  Know what your strong points are, and partner with people that
  are strong where you are weakest and your strengths match with
  their weak points.

  Partner With Someone Who Has Drive and Strong Sense of
  Commitment: You do not want to partner with someone you
  have to carry and drag across the finish line, or with someone

   who will abandon you when the going gets tough. Take care to
   choose a partner carefully.

5. Success Plan

   Simple: make sure the success plan of your company is simple.
   Like Einstein said, “Everything should be made as simple as
   possible, but not simpler.”

   Concise: Make sure the plan is easy to read and not complicate,
   long drawn out plans are of no use to anyone, they are boring to
   read and too complex to understand.

   Easy to Duplicate: Duplication is the key to your success and it
   is one of the most important aspects of this business. If your plan
   is not duplicate-able you should rewrite your plan.

   That is my system for evaluating the opportunity, now lets take a
   look at the basic system for success in network marketing.

   If you pick up a copy of One Minute Millionaire by Robert G.
   Allen and Mark Victor Hansen you will read on page 260 their
   Five Characteristics of the Ideal Money Making System. (I call it
   the Sum Zero System ©)

   I think it is also a good system to use with some minor
   adjustments so as not to take away from Allen’s and Hansen’s
   genius.

1. Zero Cash: Not necessarily NO cash, just little cash outlay to
   get started with a short turn around on your ROI. (Return Of
   Investment) For me, “Zero Cash” means if can borrow the
   money easily from friends and family without putting a strain on
   our relationship and return the money in a very short period of

   time. Or I can put the initial start up capital on my credit card
   and have the ROI before the bill comes in the mail so I can pay
   off the total amount in 30 days or less.

2. Zero Risk: If I don’t have much money tied up in the
   opportunity even if I loose out on the whole venture I am not
   wasting my family’s life savings. With network marketing at
   least at this level at this time it is not necessary to worry about
   L.L.C.’s and “S” or “C” Corporations or setting up Family
   Trusts. The only risk you have is the initial cash outlay which
   again is minimal.

3. Zero Time: Zero time isn’t absolutely no time, in the beginning
   you will have to invest time, and in some cases a lot of time. It
   may require more than the 10 to 15 hours a week recommended,
   but the good thing is that you can leverage your time as your
   organization grows. Once your organization is successful and up
   and running you can easily walk away and it will still keep
   running smoothly without you.

4. Zero Management: With network marketing you should be
   spending zero time in a management role. If you find you are
   playing the role of manager you are off base and not creating an
   environment for duplication.

5. Zero Energy: Your life is your energy, you do not want to
   waste your energy in a negative environment. If you create a
   positive environment it wont be an energy draining environment
   it will be an energy charging environment.

As a personal development coach I deal with successful and
wealthy people. There are always people I run into that say they
would love to trade places with so- and-so, or how they wish they
had this or that person’s life.

       The System for Your Networking Business


   Pre-Approach (before your prospect becomes a member)

1. Hand them a Gel Pack or two with your business card that
   includes your contact information, and the number or web
   address for your sizzle message.

2. Once they have listened to the sizzle message they take the next
   step which is to either call you and set up a time for you to drop
   off a DVD, or they watch the DVD online via a “step 2” link.

3. Once they have viewed the video they then move on to the next
   step, another short video regarding the products.

   This can also include webcast if available, and using a three-way
   call with sponsor and or upline.

4. Next step is to call you to set an appointment with you to see
   your presentation and to have their questions answered or
   directed to the tools to do that for you

   I am a firm believer in having the tools do as much of the work
   for you as possible without taking the human factor and the
   relationship building out of the equation.

   I am not however a big fan of all the internet recruiting methods,
   I do believe the internet can help, but I don’t think it is the ideal
   way to build longer term relationships necessary to build a solid
   team environment.

1.   Place an Executive Order. This is important so your new
     member can maximize the total power of the Quadra Plan and
     make the money they need to make their dreams come true.

2.   Set-Up Appropriate Autoship, and properly explain the
     importance of the Autoship program.

3.   Set up a time to begin training by following the Business Plan,
     and introduce them to the back office. This is a stress, low key
     training, just an introduction so as not to overwhelm them with
     information over load.

4.   Begin the Major Blast – 40 Candidates into Funnel – 7 days.
     This is going to be a busy time with you and your new member.
     There will be a lot going on and they will need your guidance and
     expertise during this initial stage.

     They will be watching you, learning from your example, and they
     will also be evaluating the business to gauge if they can really do
     this.

     The importance of the major blast is as Robert Allen puts it in his
     Five Characteristics of the Ideal Money Making System, and I
     call it the Sum Zero System© Zero Cash, Zero Risk, after the
     major blast phase they should already have their initial
     investment returned from their efforts.

5.   Conduct 1st STP within next 5 days. This is important for the
     new member so they can begin the process and learning the
     system for success. The first few times you will be there with
     them during the STPs teaching them by your example.

6.   Have your new member make a commitment to their new
     business:

7.   Commit to attend weekly Leadership Trainings. This is
     important for their commitment levels and their energy levels.
     The meetings should be high energy, and a fun no stress learning
     environment.

8.   Commit to attend Regional and National Events. These events
     are designed to have fun, connect with others in the company,
     and to learn more about the business and develop deeper success
     habits.

9.   Commit to Daily Personal Development time. For my personally
     enrolled members I like to have them use daily affirmations and
     self-talk scripts. I believe in the power of this tool so much that I
     will NOT work one-on-one with someone who will not follow
     through on this step.

     I am NOT requesting they buy a bunch of books and DVD or
     CDs, there are many sources for these tools that are free for
     everyone. With all the negativity that surrounds us daily it is
     important to combat that negativity with positive mental imagery
     and programming.

10. Commit to work the business for a minimum of 12 MONTHS.

for a quick $20,000 because your company's books are askew,
how many people do you know who you could call who would
help you?

For example, Mackay points out and builds upon the truism
expressed by Dale Carnegie: "You can make more friends in two
months by becoming really interested in other people than you
can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.
Which is just another way of saying that the way to make a friend
is to be one."

Mackay goes on to show that to build a personal network you can
draw upon demands you, yourself, be a valuable resource to other
people in your network. Being needed is better than being liked.

         Never Run Out of Great Prospects

How would you like to learn how to never run out of class-A
prospects? When I got started in this industry, I have to tell you
that I was very concerned about my ability to identify and recruit
top level people. One of the big reasons was that I had very low
credibility. If you know my story, I had 18 different jobs before
the age of 22, so no one was real excited about joining my streak.

With my poor prospecting skills, it took me about 2 years for me
to run out of warm market people to talk to. And by warm
market, I mean someone who knew my name. By that time, even
though I’d tapped out my warm market, I had worked hard
enough to be making around $100,000 a year which wasn’t too
bad. Because of that early success, I was invited to a special

meeting of company big shots at one of our annual conventions.

I remember it like it was yesterday. Here we were, in this
meeting and trying to act like big shots and we got to a question
and answer session with the top two income earners in that
company, so I took my shot. I asked them what to do when you
ran out of people to talk to. It was completely embarrassing when
they all looked at me like I was the biggest loser in history. Their
answer was basically, “be a man and figure it out”. I felt like
crawling under a rock.

Luckily for me, shortly after that convention, I attended a training
session on how to never run out of quality prospects and that
turned everything around. In a very short period of time, I had
more prospects than I had time to talk to and my career really
took off.

Today, I’m going to share what I learned in that training session.

In previous posts, we’ve talked about the formula for financial
independence being your ability to get a large group of people to
do a few simple things over a consistent period of time.

Identifying great people is one of those things. I think we’d all
agree that great people are the foundation on which all successful
companies are built. But, how do you find them?

People are busy. People are skeptical. People are stressed out.

How do you find a way for people to look close enough at the
Agel opportunity to get involved?

One of the first things you need to understand is that we’re in a
sorting business, not a convincing business. It’s not our job to
convince everyone to join us. All we need to do is find a way to

sort through them to find the ones that are hungry. See, if really
have to convince someone to join you, chances are excellent that
you’re going to have to constantly convince them to stay with
you. And, believe me, that is a very tiring experience.

Building a large organization with Agel Enterprises, like
anything else, is a numbers game. And like any numbers game,
you have to look at the law of averages. Understanding these
numbers was very helpful for me.

In general, here’s how they work…

Out of every 100, there are about 5 people that have what it takes
to be great at building a successful business with your company,
and in turn, helping you to build yours.

On top of that, there are around 25 people that will give it a shot
if the timing is right and they’re approached properly. Many of
those 25 will join you, do a little bit, and then fade away. If
you’re lucky, a few of them will make the move into the 5%
group and become long term players.

That leaves about 70 out of 100 that aren’t available for you. At
least not now. 7 out of 10 cannot be bothered with your
opportunity for any number of reasons.

You may or may not like these numbers, but I can assure you,
they’re close.

One of the top income earners in this entire industry once told me
that the entire purpose of having a big recruiting meeting is to get
everyone out of the way and to find just one person who’s really
serious about changing their life. I can tell you from many years
of experience that he was right. If I was able to hit that mark for
my career in this industry, I’d have more money than I could

count.

For a while, at least in my early years in this industry, I tried to
fight these numbers. I used to say that everyone should see the
opportunity I see. I used to try to take a 70%er and convince
them to be a 5%er. I would give them my most persuasive
arguments and they would just never join. I also tried to make
25%ers into 5%ers. That just about killed me. When someone
faded away, I took it so personally. My attitude was to make a
person successful no matter what. Only over time was I able to
realize that these numbers were real and they held true in just
about any sales related industry you could imagine.

So, if I can get you to buy into the 5%, 25% and 70% groups,
where do we go from there?

Here’s the big problem… no one will identify themselves. In
fact, they go to great lengths to trick you. 5%ers will look like
70%ers and vice versa. What happens a lot is 25%ers will
convince you that they’re 5%ers when they’re not.

So, what do we do? We accept that they’re all camouflaging
themselves and we treat them all the same. We show them the
opportunity in the best possible way. We believe the best in all of
them. And we let results show us who is who.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been tricked. But if you can
learn to let results show you the way, it will eliminate many of
the emotional hurdles you must deal with.

Our job is to sort through as many as possible, recruit some, and
let the results take it from there. What most people like to do is to
say more to a few people. A more successful approach is to say
less to more people.

So, what’s step one?

One of the most valuable tools in building your business is your
list of contacts. What I call your personal database. The first
thing we’re going to do and what we’ll ask everyone in your
organization to do is to make a list of at least 100 contacts.

Why are 100 contacts important?

1. It will give you something to work on personally

2. Your organization will tend to do what you did

3. We all have the capacity to remember. If we empty our minds
on paper, it helps to remember more. Your subconscious is full of
people. You’ll find that the list will continue to grow once you
begin to write it down.

Anyone who has not joined Agel counts. No pre-judging. Just
empty your brains on paper.

Start with your existing lists. When you finish with that, a great
approach is to grab any yellow pages and to just go through the
categories in the front. It’s very hard to go through that without
coming up with a bunch more names.

Once you get your list, here’s what you need to do. First, qualify
the people. When you’re writing the people down, you’re not to
pre-judge them. After you write them down, I’ve found it helpful
to grade them. I’m not saying we won’t contact people with a
lower score. I’m saying you can use this to contact the highest
scoring people first.

Here’s a basic qualification system that I’ve used for years. It
consists of 5 simple questions:

1. Do they have the financial ability to join your company? If
they don’t have two nickels to rub together, contact them a bit
later. If they have the financial ability to join, put a star next to
their name.

2. Are they ambitious? If they are, put another star by their name.
After these two questions, you should have 3 categories of people
on your list. The “no star” people, the “1 star” people and the “2
star” people.

3. Do they act like they want more out of life? If so, give them a
star.

4. Are they dissatisfied with some aspect of their life, to the point
that they would be willing to do something to change it? If so,
give them a star.

5. And do they have a good self-image? If they do, give them a
star.

Once you go through these 5 questions, all you have to do is start
by contacting the 5 star people first, then the 4 star, then the 3
star, 2 star, 1 star and finally the no stars.

We’re going to talk about how to contact these people, invite
them to take a look at your opportunity, present the opportunity
to them, get them to take action and get them started right, in
future posts.

For now, we’re talking about the concept of never running out of
class-A prospects.

You’re going to have some number of 5 and 4 star people on
your list. Those are who I would consider to be class A prospects.

You’re going to present the Agel opportunity to them until you
get one person to say yes and join you.

Once that happens, what is one of the first things you’re going to
do with them? Right, you’re going to have them make their own
list of 100 and grade that list. Now, how many people do you
have to talk to? Your 100 and their 100 for a total of 200. Some
portion of those 200 are going to be 5 and 4 star people.

Working together with your new recruit, you go through their 4
stars and above until you recruit just one more. What’s one of the
first things you’re going to do with that person? Get their list of
100, grade the list and then the 3 of you can work on recruiting
one of their 4 stars or above. You now have 300 people to talk to
from just 2 recruits. Your 100 and their 200.

This process doesn’t ever have to stop.

If you recruit 10 people, there is no reason not to have 1,000
people to talk to with a solid chunk of them sitting at the 4 star
and above status.

Through this process, one of the things you’ll find is you’ll work
better with other people’s contacts than you will with your own.
As we’ve discussed in previous posts, 3rd party is just more
powerful than 1st party.

All of this works great unless you fall down.

It’s up to you to start this process on your own. It’s up to you to
make it part of your recruiting process and to help your new
recruits understand why it’s so important for them to do also. It’s

up to you to overcome people’s reservations about contacting
people they know. Some of those reservations include a lack of
belief of the company’s products or opportunity, a lack of self-
esteem, a fear of losing credibility, an embarrassment from prior
failures, any number of things.

One of the things you must show them is why it is in their best
interest to make their list of 100, grade that list and begin to
contact them with a systematic approach. Not just for the results
that they’re going to get from doing that, but for what will
happen when everyone in their organization does the same.

What’s the formula for financial independence again?

It’s in your ability to get a large group of people to do a few
simple things over a consistent period of them. By doing that,
you get leverage.

So, here’s your assignment. If you haven’t built your list, start
one today. Grade it. And begin to expose those people to your
opportunity. If you’ve been around for a while and have already
done that, I’d suggest you do it again. In addition, you need to
use all of your existing leadership skill to convince everyone in
your organization to do the same.

If you do, you’re on your way to never running out of quality
prospects to talk to and let me tell you, that’s a great feeling.

                         Duplication
The goal is to DUPLICATE your success. If you can’t duplicate
you will not succeed, it is that simple.

When I bring someone into my business, one of the most
important pieces of paper that they will receive is the duplication
plan. This way they will have it and can refer to it at any time.

One of the best tools to aid you in your duplication process is the
system. I cannot say enough about how important a system is.

Franchising knows that a proven system can allow a 20-year old
to manage a restaurant that makes $3 million a year.

The military knows that a proven system allows a 23-year old
recent graduate fly a multi-billion dollar righter aircraft.

College and High School sports know that a proven system
teaches a 19-year old kid how to quarterback a football team to a
national championship.

Network marketing knows that a proven system can make you
some serious money in the network marketing industry.

Begin with your step-by-step recruiting process. Keep it real
simple, something anyone that joins your organization can do.

Utilize your company’s marketing tools, their brochures, their
handouts, the magazines and the DVDs and CDs, including
samples of the products, let the products speak for themselves.

Always, always, always have a standardized presentation, this is
VERY important. It is counter productive to have every member
of your team using 20 different presentations. With more than
one presentation it also assures the members will not be able to
memorize each one. In order to keep the system duplicate-able
work with your members so they can each present the
opportunity to anyone at anytime.

                   Creating Your Legacy
I hear this question all the time; people wanting to know, “what is
the secret to success?” What is the secret key to building a
legacy in this business? It’s not in the doing, it’s more in the
becoming. In my trainings I often ask the audience to write in
their journals or notebooks, “if money were not an issue what
would you do, have and become.” Almost never do I have
anyone write down that they want to become the type of person
that attracts people to them and their message like a magnet. Or
that they want more confidence, or other character traits. They
mostly focus on the tangible items they want.

Of all the things we want to do, have or become, one of the most
important is to become the type of person that deserves our goals
and dreams.

You’ve heard it many times, your goals are not a destination, it’s
a journey. Ever really wonder what that means?

The journey to your goals is the character traits you gain along
the way it’s who you become that allows you to accomplish your
goals. Not just the hard work, not just the focus, not just the
wanting, its who you become that attracts the people to you, that
aligns with others, who you become that meshes well with others,
that is the journey, the fringe benefits of your success goals.

Creating your legacy will lie squarely on your shoulders, and
your ability to approach your business enthusiastically and with a

around and do business with exciting and dynamic people. This
is a major key to sponsoring new members into your
organization.

Developing a dynamic and energetic personality will change the
direction of your life almost instantly. It will direct you from
failure and misery onward to success and happiness.

Think about it for a moment, when a leader walks into a room
does the energy level rise or drop? I can remember the first time
I met Chuck Norris. I was at a karate tournament in California
and Mr. Norris walked into the room, it was like magic, the
whole room was alive with an energy I had never felt before,
when he shook my hand it was like the energy was recharging
my whole body.

In your business are you motivate and energetic, or are you
meek, and mild like a church mouse? When someone asks how
you are, do you mumble something that is barely audible or do
you boldly state you are doing great?

Why is enthusiasm so important you might be wondering? Well
quite simply the ultimate goal to sponsoring success is to create
an environment where you have people approaching you to learn
about you, what you do and how you do it.

Sure you can take advance internet advertising courses and attend
master internet marketing courses from the gurus, but you will
soon discover most of the people in the audience are
opportunistic, egotistical jerks just like the people giving the
seminar.

You will notice they don’t have a lot of friends and the people
around are only focussed on themselves and what they can take
from the guru. The marketing guru has an excuse for that
phenomenon at the ready. Their reply is, “it’s lonely at the top.”

Network marketing is a relationship business, if you are not good
at building relationships, then get good at it, or work with your
partner or spouse let them do that aspect of the business.

With Agel you have the opportunity to create real lasting wealth,
the legacy kind of wealth, a wealth that can last for generations to
come. The way you build that legacy wealth is by having an
organization that can continue the work while you are not there,
while you are sipping out of a coconut on some south pacific
beach somewhere.

By duplicating not only the system but also the character and the

Building an organization of people that are all building their

Now imagine for a moment you have 25 other people in your
organization all doing the exact same thing. I will let that sink in
for a moment. That is the power you have in network marketing.

And even more so in Southeast Asia, because the people in this
part of the world are accustomed to working with a mentor, or
master craftsman, and they are accustomed to not deviating from
the prescribed plan, they will NOT try to reinvent the wheel, they
will follow a plan that works and produces consistent results.

One of the biggest challenges in most network marketing
companies is thousands of distributors all doing the business
"their unique way"...with no business plan, no support and no
accountability.

This would be equivalent to McDonalds not providing franchise
owners a proven system to follow. McDonalds is successful
because every franchise owner follows the identical business
plan...with no exceptions, they all follow the same system.

With my team we use the "McDonalds Franchise Approach".
Everyone is taught to do the exact same thing and no one
deviates from the plan. Everyone knows what to do and what's
expected of them.

I believe in this approach to building a network marketing
organization and I am always looking for focussed, committed
entrepreneurs who are not afraid to work in a professional

To partner with me personally all prospects must pass an
interview with me prior to submitting their application. The
purpose of the interview is to establish a working relationship,
solidify the business plan, set goals, and present a clear
understanding of specific performance requirements. Upon
approval, the new member signs a "Performance Agreement" and
reports weekly to their "Success Mentor."

I encourage everyone and anyone to join my organization and to
apply the proven success formulas and systems and get plugged
into the system any way they can, they don’t need me to do that
for them. If someone wants to work with me personally there are
certain criteria and standards I want them to meet so we can
make the best use of our time together.

They want to become successful that is why they want to work
with me and be in my organization, what they don’t realize at
first is that I probably want them to become successful more than
they do, and that sets me up for emotional failure from the start.
So to protect both of us from that I want to make sure we are both
on the same level playing field, and I do that by setting
performance standards.

By sitting down and engaging in your own strategic planning
session you’re actually giving yourself a step by step plan for
how you will act, think, and perform. You are taking all the
guess work out of your business, and therefore can accurately
predict your future levels of success. Success is predictable when
you approach your business in this manner.

Strategic planning can save you time and money by thinking
through the systems and processes and anticipating problems and
issues before they arise and coming up with creative solutions in
advance. You have a predetermined set of actions and responses
to the common problems that might arise.

In addition to anticipating issues you can also strategically plan

less and less of the actions that are not helpful or counter
productive.

This is how anyone can reduce success to its most simplistic

I am sure you could find a perfectly valid reason to never step

excuses.

                           Like A Fish?
 Some researchers placed a barracuda in a huge aquarium filled
with small fish for it to feed on. The barracuda ate till he could
not eat any more. Then they placed a glass partition separating
the barracuda from the small fish. The barracuda can see the fish
but can’t get to them. He would bang, and crash into the partition
to get to the smaller fish but he could not get through the
partition. After to many attempts the fish eventually gave up.

The researchers removed the partition and let the smaller fish
swim freely in the tank. With the smaller fish now swimming all
around the barracuda he still refused to even attempt to eat them.

He could see the smaller fish, smell them, feel them, but he

                    Network Marketing

     Being successful in network marketing does not just happen.
     Success will not simply fall into your lap the minute you sign on
     with a company. However, success does happen, and it can
     happen to you. All you need is the drive and motivation it takes
     to invest just a small amount of time per day. Along the way, you
     will learn some hints and tips that will make your few hours a
     week in network marketing more worthwhile and lucrative. To
     save you some time in finding these, here are the 50 most
     important hints and tips you will need to be a success. Good luck!

1.         Make a total commitment to your program for at least one
     year. Whether a total commitment for you is five hours a week or
     40 hours a week, stick with in for at least twelve full months.

2.          Sell yourself first, then the product and the payment plan.
     Remember, nobody is going to work with you unless they first
     feel comfortable working with you.

3.         Spend 90% of your business time with distributors,
     customers, and prospects. These are the areas the make network
     marketing what it is today.

4.          Present your product and marketing plan to at least one
      person per day. If you only have half an hour to spend a day in
      network marketing, spend that half-hour calling a new prospect.
      By the time your downline is so big you need more than half an
      hour a day to do all of your work, you will be earning enough to
      take off more than a half-hour a day.

5.          Let everyone know that you are in network marketing.
      Advertise to everyone. The best way to do this subtly is by saying
      to everyone you meet, "So, what do you do for a living?" They
      will most likely tell you their occupation and then ask you the
      same question. You now have another lead.

6.           Duplicate yourself in all of the distributors you sign on. Do
      this by telling and showing them exactly what you do, then have
      them do it for themselves.

7.          Motivate your downline every month by offering
      recognition, money, or prizes to the distributor who sells the
      most. Inexpensive books about network marketing make
      excellent prizes.

8.           Mingle with top distributors and ask then how they made
      it. Free advice should always be appreciated and accepted with
      open arms.

9.          Be persistent. Only one of twenty people you approach
      may get serious about the business or be interested in your
      product.

10.          Lead by example. Never stop selling, recruiting, or
      training. If your downline sees that you are able to do something,
      they will do it, too.

11.         Keep it simple. The best marketing strategies are those that
      your downline can easily copy and implement for themselves.
      Along the same lines, the best network marketing companies
      have a marketing system that anybody can easily copy and
      implement for themselves.

12.         Keep in touch with your down- and upline. Send out a
      monthly newsletter, make monthly calls, hold monthly meetings,
      send out monthly postcards, and always send out important
      information immediately.

13.         When conducting a recruiting meeting, conduct brief,
      simple, yet dramatic presentations. Prospects become annoyed if
      a presentation is too long, too boring, or too sleazy.

14.          Listen 80% of the time, talk 20% of the time. Most of the
      time, a sales meeting is making no progress while you are
      talking.

15.          Concentrate on what you can do for your distributors and
      customers, not on your own profits. By concerning yourself with
      others, your profits will rise on their own.

16.          Give customers more than they expect. Everybody loves a
      free gift. And as they say, what goes around, comes around.

17.         Do not accept "No" as a final answer. The vast majority of
      prospects will not write you a check the first time you contact
      them. Be sure to approach somebody at least twelve time a year
      with new information or another reason to join your company.

18.         Speak enthusiastically about your business and product. If
      you aren't enthused by them, nobody else will be.

19.         Work on top priority projects that produce the most return.
      Nonetheless, always leave time for the less important things that
      are important in keeping your downline running smoothly.

20.         Build your list of contacts daily while you build your
      reputation. The more reputable and well known you become, and
      more calls and sales you will undoubtedly make.

21.          Approach former top distributors. They are open. Often, a
      top distributor's company will go out of business. If you catch
      him/her while he/she is looking for a new company, it will be an
      easy sale.

22.          Fit the needs of a prospect with the benefit of your product
      and/or business opportunity. Remember, a distributor does not
      force his/her product or company onto a prospect, he/she
      accommodate his/her prospect's needs.

23.         Organize your files so that you can locate any piece of
      information in 30 seconds. You never know when a prospect will
      ask you about something you have filed away.

24.           Use an answering machine or voice mail service and return
      all calls within 24 hours. If you have a prospect waiting too long,
      he/she will lose interest or receive another offer.

25.         Set daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals. Remember,
      goals are simply dreams with deadlines, so do whatever is
      necessary to fulfill them.

26.          Do not pass negative rumors downline! Stop all the
      negative rumors you hear by going straight to the source and
      figuring things out for yourself.

27.         Listen to cassette tapes, read books, and watch videos
      made by network marketing super- stars. It is always necessary to
      be improving your skills.

28.         Subscribe to network marketing magazines. While the
      information inside will not be as detailed as that in a book,
      magazines are the source for a bonanza of important information.

29.         Expand your distributors world-wide. Think big, act big,
      and pretty soon, your income will be big!

30.          Tell others, especially prospects, what they are interested
      in hearing, not what you think they should know. What you may
      think is the best aspect of a payment plan may not be what a
      prospect is looking for.

31.         Spend money on things that will make you more money.
      Many things, such as books and magazine subscription, may not
      seem as though they will make you anything. Think again.

32.         Schedule important tasks for the time of day at which you
      perform your best. For me, that's about ten o'clock in the
      morning.

33.         Put a large portion of your profits back into your business.
      By investing $200 in advertising, you could earn an additional
      $500.

34.          Know that if others can do it, so can you. Most of the time,
      there is nothing keeping you back but yourself. Let yourself go
      and achieve your full potential.

35.          Give yourself a reward for reaching goals and a penalty for
      falling short. Usually, the profit involved in making a sale and the

      lost investment in losing a sale are rewards and penalties in
      themselves.

36.          Have a lot of fun in your business! This will keep your
      spirits up and make others want to join you.

37.          Write an outline of what you are going to say when you
      call a prospect. Be sure to include the main words and concepts
      you will say.

38.         Write yourself a 30-second commercial. In these 30
      seconds, be sure to include your name, your company, and why
      your opportunity is the best one available.

39.          Sell the steak, not its sizzle. Prospects become annoyed if
      you add to much spice and sizzle to your presentation. Present
      the facts and be sure to emphasize the good things, but do not go
      too far.

40.         Decide today that you are going to succeed. Do whatever
      to need to do to succeed, and never let yourself think for one
      moment that you will not succeed.

41.         Make a plan today. Decide how much time and money you
      are going to invest, how many distributors and how much profit
      you want in a certain time, and follow that plan.

42.          Get the right tools for network marketing: a fax machine,
      an answering machine or service, three-way calling, business

44.         Know your product, company, and payment plan inside-
      out. Make sure there is no question a prospect can ask you that
      you can't answer.

45.         Ask your prospect what they are looking for in network
      marketing. Then, shape your presentation to fill that prospect's
      individual needs.

46.         Sort out your prospects. Spend less time with the prospect
      who probably won't do very much, and spend a lot of time
      shaping successful-looking prospects into leaders.

47.         Network marketing does not end when the sale ends. Work
      with your downline even after you have received your profits.
      Keep in mind that their profits are also your profits.

48.          Keep good relations with everybody you meet. A
      distributor in a different company may be no good to you now,
      but who knows where he/she and you will be a few years down
      the road.

49.         Go for it! Do it now!

50.          Don't let anything stand it your way! Just look at me: I'm
      fourteen-years-old, I have a slight speech impediment, I have
      eight hours of school per day and then another two or three hours
      of homework, and I have acne. But seriously, did I let that stop

          Why People Fail In Network Marketing

1.   NO WRITTEN GOALS. Doesn't know what they want out of
     life. No direction or dreams. Confused and lost.

2.   Wants to sponsor TOP PRODUCERS instead of learning HOW
     to BECOME ONE. It is better to be sponsored by a Top Producer
     than to sponsor one. That way, you can learn HOW a Top
     Producer achieves. Mentioning that your sponsor is a Top
     Producer is a great recruiting tool.

3.   No COMMITMENT. No action.

4.   UNORGANIZED. Wastes too much time looking for documents.
     Cluttered desk.

5.   Poor RECORD KEEPING. Doesn't keep accurate record of
     transactions.

6.   Only interested in PERSONAL PROFITS. Doesn't care about the
     needs of his customers and distributors.

7.   No ANSWERING MACHINE or service. Can't be reached
     easily.

8.   Doesn't RETURN CALLS promptly.

9.   UNINFORMED on HOW to succeed in network marketing. Not
     interested.

10. Fails to keep AGREEMENTS, APPOINTMENTS and doesn't
    explain.

11. Doesn't FOLLOW-UP on prospects and customers. Doesn't show
    they care.

12. GIVES UP too soon. Usually quits in the first 90 days.

13. Gets DISCOURAGED by small problems and inconveniences.
    Slows down.

14. BAD MOUTHS other companies. Loses credibility as a positive
    person.

15. Not really SERIOUS about MLM.

16. Lacks SELF-ESTEEM. Drives around in a messy, dirty,
    unpolished car. Doesn't realize that prospects see this person as a
    person with a poor self-image.

17. LAZY. Wants to reap the rewards of his downline's efforts
    without working.

18. Distributes UNPROFESSIONAL, sloppy poor copies of
    information.

19. Doesn't establish a RETAIL base with companies that have
    retail-able products.

20. A poor EXAMPLE of the benefits of the products they represent.

24. RESENTFUL of upline earnings. Stops producing to prevent
    upline from receiving bonuses on their production. Self-
    defeating.

25. BLAMES the company, the products, the marketing plan, lack of
    support from upline, etc. Doesn't realize that if others can
    succeed under similar environment, they can too. Doesn't take
    responsibility.

26. Unrealistic EXPECTATIONS for the little effort they put out.

27. Hangs around NEGATIVE speaking people, instead of top
    earners. Birds of a feather flock together. Beware!

28. Too IMPATIENT. Wants to make big money too soon without
    being willing to put out the necessary effort.

29. Doesn't pass TIMELY INFORMATION downline immediately.

30. COMPLAINS too much and acts like an immature cry baby. A
    non-producer.

31. Keeps SWITCHING to other MLM companies without first
    achieving some degree of success. Never makes money.

32. Gets involved in CHAIN LETTERS, illegal pyramids, and other
    schemes.

    good reason to say "YES". Stops calling people.

    thinking.

37. Doesn't believe in or USE the products regularly. Just in it for the
    money.

38. Easily INFLUENCED by negative comments from family
    members, relatives and friends. Doesn't listen to positive side.
    Can't think for himself or herself.

39. Spend too much TIME getting organized and too little time
    talking to prospects and customers. Avoids people.

40. Expects PERFECTION from a new company without realizing
    that it takes time.

41. Doesn't PLAN to succeed. Plans to fail.

42. Has unprofessional APPEARANCE.

43. Always gives too many EXCUSES.

44. Thinks they KNOW EVERYTHING.
