      (i)      “That Kilkenny County Council hereby approves of the disposal of its interest in
               house at 1 Togher Way, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny to Brynley & Veronica Nation
               in accordance with the terms of the Housing Acts 1966 to 2002”. Notification
               issued to members on 7th September 2006.

      (ii)     “That Kilkenny County Council hereby approves of the disposal of its interest in
               house at 78 St. Kieran’s Crescent, Kilkenny to Mark Kirwan & Kelly Delaney in
               accordance with the terms of the Housing Acts 1966 to 2002”. Notification
               issued to members on 7th September 2006.

      (iii)    “That Kilkenny County Council hereby approves of the disposal of its interest in
               house at 34 Pococke Valley, Johnswell Road, Kilkenny to Robert & Wendy
               Neary in accordance with the terms of the Housing Acts 1966 to 2002”.
               Notification issued to members on 7th September 2006.

      (iv)     “That Kilkenny County Council hereby approves of the disposal of its interest in
               house at 36 St. Mary’s Avenue, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny to Laurence & Mary
               Phelan in accordance with the terms of the Housing Acts 1966 to 2002”.
               Notification issued to members on 7th September 2006.

      (v)      “That Kilkenny County Council hereby approves of the disposal of its interest in
               house at 42 Rosewood, Johnswell Road, Kilkenny to Gareth O’Brien in
               accordance with the terms of the Housing Acts 1966 to 2002”. Notification
               issued to members on 7th September 2006.

      (vi)     “That Kilkenny County Council hereby approves of the disposal of its interest in
               site no. 5 at Paulstown to Linda Gibbons and James Hickey for the sum of
               €38,400 in accordance with the terms of the Housing Acts 1966 to 2002”.
               Notification issued to members on 7th September 2006.

      (vii) “That Kilkenny County Council hereby approves of the disposal of its interest in
            house at 4 St. Kieran’s Crescent, Kilkenny to Christopher Wallace in accordance
            with the terms of the Housing Acts 1966 to 2002”. Notification issued to
            members on 7th September 2006.

      (viii) “That Kilkenny County Council approve of the disposal of its interest in lands at
             Clonmore, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny to Daniel Langford & Martha Brennan,
             Clonmore, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny for the purpose of rectifying title to cottage
             plot, in accordance with Section 183 of the Local Government Act, 2001”.

      9(06) Cllr. John Coonan – 8th May, 2006
            “That under the exemption/reduction section in Kilkenny Local Authorities
            Development Contributions Scheme. That all non profit voluntary/public
            services be exempt from these development charges”.

     12(06) Cllr. Tomas Breathnach – 29th May, 2006
            “That Kilkenny County Council should discontinue the practice of allowing
            temporary holding tanks for sewerage to be installed for all new
            developments. Likewise temporary arrangements for dealing with surface
            and storm water should also be discontinued. Permission to commence
            construction of new housing should only come into effect when these two
            essential elements of infrastructure are in place and with adequate
            operational capacity provided and occupancy of new houses should be
            allowed when proper and proven correct connection has been made to both
            systems”.


     13(06) Cllr. Malcolm Noonan – 12th June, 2006
          “That Kilkenny County Council would as part of its procurement policy and in
          its tendering procedures stipulate the use of GGBS Cement as an
          environmentally friendly alternative to normal Portland Cement, in accordance
          with Directive 2004/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on
          the coordination of procedures for the award of public works contracts, public
          supply contracts and public service contracts, thereby significantly reducing
          the embedded energy and CO2 content in concrete used in all Local Authority
          commissioned projects”.



     14 (06) Cllr. Malcolm Noonan - 10th July, 2006
             “That Kilkenny County Council introduce Bye Laws banning the installation
             and use of food waste macerators in all new domestic dwellings, hotels and
             restaurants due to the adverse impacts that they pose on Local Authority
             Waste Water Treatment System”.

           “That school leavers be employed during summer to carry out an
           examination of the current electoral register and if serious discrepances are
           shown up that the compilation of the new register be the subject of a new
           job scheme for young people”.


22(06)     Waterford City Council – 1st June, 2006
           “That this Council should, as a matter of high priority, call on the Minister
           for Health to expedite screening for Breast Cancer for Women in the
           Waterford area”.


23(06)     Monaghan Town Council – 2nd June, 2006
           “That Monaghan Town Council calls to have the legislation governing the
           location of telecommunications masts altered to existing masts can be
           removed from areas of high density population in addition to new masts
           being prevented from locating there, have the safety threshold governing
           the radiation emissions permitted from such masts lowered considerably”.


24(06)     Sligo Borough Council – 6th June, 2006
           “That Sligo Borough Council call on the Fianna Fail/PD government for
           radical overhaul of the electoral register to give all potential voters an
           opportunity to use their vote in the next election and to ensure Local
           Authorities must be given the resources including personnel, facilities and
           funds in order to carry out this vital work. Voter registration is best handled
           by local authorities who have vital knowledge of their own electoral area”.
25(06)     Waterford City Council – 22nd June, 2006
           “That Waterford City Council calls on the Government to ensure that all
           children are afforded the highest legal & constitutional protection from
           sexual and all forms of abuse demands that, in addition to the emergency
           legislation adopted last week and in accordance with calls from the National
           Rape Crisis Network, a review of all legislation be undertaken forthwith in
           consultation with all stakeholders to enable the introduction of secure,
           comprehensive and up to date legislation in the area of rape & sexual abuse
           at the earliest possible date and further demands that an appropriate core
           funding stream be put in place to enable the universal enforcement of the
           legislation and the provision of comprehensive victim support services”

         “Passage West Town Council calls on the Minister for Finance to omit
         Disability Allowance income from standard mean tests”.

         “That Cashel Town Council support the call for an Annual Commermoration
         of the Irish Famine to be known as “Memorial Day” to honour the memory
         of the victims who died and the emigrants who gave so much to the world”.

         “That Cashel Town Council call on the Minister for Transport, Martin Cullen,
         to issue Full Driving Licences in categories “B”, “M” and “W” to every driver
         who can produce a No Claims Bonus of Insurance for a four year period”

         “That Fermoy Town Council reaffirms its advocacy of having waste taxed at
         the point of entry in preference to the present situation where waste is
         taxed at the point of disposal”.


30(06)   Limerick County Council – 31st July, 2006
         “That, Limerick County Council calls on Bus Eireann to make provision and
         initiate plans to have wheelchair accessible coaches provided no all inter-
         urban and long distance commuter routes as part of fleet replacement
         within the company”.
31(06)   Edenderry Town Council – 8th August, 2006
         “That the Government provide more funding for the upkeep of our country
         roads, so that tehy can be made safer for motorists”.
