Positions: Operations Staff Officer located at the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) in Tyson’s
Corner, Virginia.

Availability: Immediate

Position Description: Serve as an Operations Staff Officer for the Combined Media Processing Center-
Qatar (CMPC-Q), located at the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC). Perform tasks relative to
support the Director and Deputy Director, NMEC and subordinate offices. The Operations Staff Officer
will assist the CMPC-Q Issue Manager with a full spectrum of platform management including operations,
manpower, logistics, and requests for information. The Operations Staff Officer will monitor CMPC-Q
operations and ensure that leadership is informed of significant developments and emerging requirements.
Additionally, the Operations Staff Officer will coordinate intra-office and intra-Directorate actions
between NMEC, DIA, OSC, and NVTC; will handle all taskings applicable to CMPC-Q and complete all
coordination and research necessary to submit responses to senior leadership, commanders, and policy
makers within DoD, IC, and DNI. The Operations Staff Officer will coordinate with primary staff officers
and NMEC partner points of contact to prepare responses to official taskings and leadership inquiries.
Will prepare weekly and monthly statistical information slides used in recurring staff meetings, NMEC
orientation briefings, and for use in response to official taskings as required.

Mandatory Requirements:

       Current or very recent (within past 24 months) TS/SCI security clearance
       At least 15 years experience in DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), or Law Enforcement Agency
       Experience working on DoD and/or Service-level operations, policies, plans, and/or programs
       Completion of Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience/Training:

       A sound understanding of DoD policies and Directives.
       Ability for fact finding, analysis, and report generation.
       Capable of giving oral presentations, writing reports, and preparing statistical analyses in a clear
        and concise manner.
       Skill in effectively communicating and maintaining effective relationships with peers and senior
        officials to coordinate and resolve divergent interests and views.
       Proven ability to write, edit, and consolidate complex papers.
