Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for four (4) 9th – 12th grade MSL students to serve on the instructor hiring
committee. This is an excellent skill building and service learning opportunity. Student
representatives are interviewed, trained, and will sit on the hiring committee. You will
play a key leadership and advising role in the hiring of instructors. This position includes
the following job duties:

   •   Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required.
   •   Respond to all correspondence promptly.
   •   Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
All applicants must:
    a) have completed at least two summer sessions of MSL;
    b) commit to being available June 9-20, 2008;
    c) submit to and pass all background checks;
    d) follow the laws of Washington State including, but not limited to, drug, alcohol,
       and tobacco use;
    e) submit a copy of your resume;
    f) submit an application (available online);
    g) and write a one page essay describing the qualities of your ideal instructor.
