DESCRRIPTION
Duties & Responsibilities
    1. Assist with visitors in the visitor center & keep visitor information stocked
    2. Maintain website information through ChamberMaster software
    3. Work with new media marketing including FaceBook
    4. Aid with community events
    5. Present an overall professional appearance


LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an individual in public relations, marketing, communications, journalism or related field.
This individual must portray a high level of customer service and professionalism. The intern must be
willing to work some evenings and weekends. Some graphics or visual communication skills is desirable,
but not required.

Powell Wyoming is nestled just an hour and a half east of Yellowstone National Park. Powell has a
population of about 5,500 people. This friendly community offers unique shopping opportunities, golfing,
indoor aquatics and several parks. You can enjoy a variety of year-round outdoor activities including
hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, biking and more.

The Powell Valley Chamber of Commerce seeks to provide tools for the health and growth of our
business community. We currently have 231 members. We also act as the area visitor’s center providing
local and regional information to travelers. The chamber of commerce does a number of activities to draw
people into our community and keep an active and vibrant downtown.
