TUTJAVI On this day Khomas High received visitors ( fellow learners and one teacher, Ms Amutenya) from Ella Du Plessis. Ms Amutenya opened the day with a prayer. Khomas High School Choir performed a few songs. A learner from Ella Du Plessis delivered a speech.
Khomas High School invited a Guest Speaker from Lironga Eparu.(Learn to Survive) Lironga Eparu is a Non-Government Organization dealing with people living positively with the HIV/AIDS virus. It solicit funds through donor organization to uplift and enhance these people. Offices are situated at the old Nanso Building opposite Rossing Foundation in Khomasdal headed by people living with the HIV/AIDS virus. The speaker is living positively with the HIV/AIDS virus. She informed the audience that she was diagnosed with the virus when she was sixteen years old. She was then very sick. She started with the ARV-treatment and now she is healthy and look like she is not infected. She told the learners to get tested and to take good care of themselves.
