ith the early Drinking Day playoffs entering round two and the late Drinking Day playoffs starting tonight, the end of spring is near, sadly. And while it has been a great season (have you been in the bars? PACKED every week!) we know that fall will be even better. As we always do with the end of the season. tonight we will allow boys on the bar (note not boys and ladies at the same time) at My Brother's
Place after the Drinking Day 2 flip cup tournament, which will start at 9pm. So get your best YMCA and It's Rainin' Men dances down boys and head up on the bar. It's sure to be - well - funny and gross. PLEASE: If you have not yet registered for fall let's go people! Fall registration is moving along but we want to see these teams filling up already!

Cori, THAT Team - This week’s awards are more like “Bar MVP” than LOTW. Corey is the one who won the dance contest last week in a tough battle over Laura. She showed the moves and got the cheers (and $200) to take home this season’s honors. Her dancing in the street afterward to celebrate her win was pretty good too!

Laura, Jerry Curl and the Activators - Some claimed she got robbed, others claim she was second base. In any event there is no doubt that season after season Laura puts on a great show on the bar with her dancing. Last season's dance champ barely lost out this season, and she certainly entertained the crowd. We have no doubt she will return again to the top (of the bar) and be making men sweat while watching her do her thing.

Whitewater Rafting
Our first foray into white water rafting. Details: $60 per person gets you whitewater rafting and lunch afterward. Real lunch like we will bring sammies, chips, wings, and other good stuff. We will have a picnic area reserved for us for when we are done with horseshoes and volleyball too. It's a long ride down there so we need to leave at 9am from My Brother’s Place. This will be a fun trip you won't want to miss! You will not be able to be drunk and join us so limited booze on the way down and drink your face off afterward! It will certainly be fun. NAKID Poker Tournament Recap
T
his past Saturday 40 or so NAKIDs and friends took the tables at Hamilton's for the Spring NAKID Poker Tournament. The first hour of the game was played fast and furious as we had unlimited rebuys during this time period. Chris Hooks busted out three times, each time providing more levity (and money to the pot). Lane took a nosedive twice and bought back in each time. As the time went on the play got more conservative and it took a bit for the next few people to drop out. We had the most women ever at a NAKID poker tournament, 4 - Lisa of the Neuticals Christin of Barely Legal, Naomi of Dramaholics, and Lindsay of That's What She Said and they are all playing well. The mini burgers are a huge hit.

Players keep dropping and luckily there is a beer pong tournament upstairs in Hamilton's to help drown their sorrows. We are moving along quickly and condense to a final table that contains, among others, our only bracelet winner in the tournament - Jersey Joe. Dave Whalen defends his title as "guy who drinks the most at the NAKID poker tournament". We know, big surprise.
A battle shapes up between everyone at the final table and the Mouth of the table from Team Bicycle. He winds up finishing fifth, and the fourth place guy follows soon after. Jersey Joe finishes third. Paul of Cause We Were Drunk finishes as our Winner with Lindsay coming in second - the highest place for a woman ever! All in all lots of fun was had and it was another great NAKID poker Tournament! See you all, especially Paul, in the fall.

Drinking Day games recap
Early Division: In the first round of the early Drinking Day playoffs, we pretty much saw everything go accoring to chalk. Booze on First took down Team Vorsight, 7-2. Evil Shenanigans beat THAT Team in a close match, 5-3. Stage 5 Clingers shutout the always formidable Medicine Balls, 3-0. And Just the Tip got past the Gym Class Zeros by a 7-4 count. This sets up all of the division winners playing each other in the final four. Late Division: In the late Drinking Day games, Friends with Benefits and Kickball Causes BallsNottoDrop played to a 0-0 tie. There's a Party in My Pants tied Spitzer Swallows 4-4. Jerry Curl and the Activators eased by Neumann's. The pur-PLE squad stayed perfect with a 7-3 trouncing of the Ball Busters. And Lookin to Score climbed out of the conference basement with a 6-1 win over We'll Kick yo Balls. All division winners for late Drinking Day are umpiring this week, please supply at least three per team. For the early games we need your help, PLEASE come out to umpire if your team is out of the playoffs - we need refs! We will give free beer!

Congrats to Just the Tip, our early Drinking Day Flip Cup Champions. They were cruising with a 4-1 lead in the final game and after losing the next three rounds took down Booze on First to win the title 5-4!
This week we offer the late Drinking Day Flip Cup Championship and while few have given Kickball Causes BallsNottoDrop, a two season champion, its due respect, the Magic 8 Ball has. Yes, lots of you have been talking smack about your skills, but they have been the best so far. We'll see tonight. One final note too, just to settle any dispute and speaking of smack talk, the Magic 8 Ball must declare Adam and Maureen as Best Married Couple in NAKID over the Lacys.
