I was trying to electrocute him, but had a hard time getting the glaive charged up. My timing on the electricty coming down from the ceiling was bad. I noticed the fire in the middle of the room but by then I was ready for bed.
and he'll fall from the pillar ,then quickly run up to his front and you'll get the RED B button prompt(finishing move) then it'll be either A or Y (can't remember exactly) and you'll see a mini cutscene with you shooting him in the head, he'll come back and climb the pillars again ,so do this about 3−4 times then he'll be on the ground running after you ,just dodge his running attacks and he'll still throw stuff at you so dodge them as well also when he's on the ground alternate between electricity and flame attacks and he'll eventually die. Also be carefull of hiding behind stuff as it will eventually be destroyed by the stuff he throws at it.
I found out the hard way about hiding behind the pillars. They don't stand up very well when concrete chunks are being thrown at them.
Next boss is a bitch too....

I probably should'nt spoil it for you ,but eventually you get an exploding graive but it has to be with an element either fire or electricity. Its sweet !!
As long as it doesn't explode when it gets back to you. ;) =================================== whew! just beat Dark Sector. seemed like every review of Ninja Gaiden mentioned how tough the game was. well...Dark Sector's bosses are just as tough, if not tougher. honestly, some of these guys took hours of trial and error, cursing, yelling, and hair pulling to beat.
I thought the Colossus battle would never end. I got him down from the rafters without a problem, but the second stage seemed to take forever. I spent more time dodging concrete than getting a charged throw at him. I finally said to hell with it and hung out right next to the fire. I took more than a few blows in order to get some quality throws in on him. I got excited when he finally went down but then I realized "crap, he's not THE boss". Then I steeled myself for the battles to come. Now I'm struggling with the guy in the mechanical robot. I can get him electrocuted, but by the time I get behind it to cap him he's stuck a rocket up my backside. By then my cat was giving me the "I'm going to sink my claws into your leg if you don't let me sleep" look so it was time to quit. I'll have to say, this is the first game in a long time that I've looked forward to playing.
possible spoilers (last boss tips) below tips for the last boss: there's a power station to your right that you can break open for easier power access aim low, between the tentacles where they connect to the body use explode to open the tentacles and sometimes kill them (I guess if they are already open) recharge the glaive AS the mouths open Re: Dark Sector − Anyone Played This Yet? 2
