									HIGHER – CLOSE READING
Since weeks 1-10 are all focused on short specific exercises, it is important that
students are also made aware of the importance of regular reading of non-fiction texts.
A weekly polypocket approach – focusing only on main ideas and context questions
will ensure that this is done.
After week 10, the course will demand weekly reading of passages for study, so the
polypockets can be dropped.
