Samsung unveils next-generation YouTube Compatible Compact Digital Camcorder

Buoyed by the success of SC-MX20 camcorder, Samsung has announced the unveiling of their next generation YouTube compatible compact digital camcorder SMX F34. State-of the-art and the best of the breed SMX F34 offers some wonderful additional functionality and features that customer would find irresistible. They come integrated memory, digital still photo capability, and Samsung’s 42x Intelli-Zoom. Boasting of the SMX F34, the company claims that its latest image processor is capable of reducing power consumption, hence, longer life for battery, which allows consumers to record up to three hours at a stretch of uninterrupted video. Samsung is first to apply H.264 compression to standard definition video enabling its users to record up to eight hours of standard definition video directly to the camcorder’s internal flash memory. As its reviews, the SMX F34 camcorder also boasts of leaving a standard digital zoom way behind in reliability quotient. With Samsung’s latest Intelli-Zoom, the user can go beyond the camcorder’s 34x optical zoom while keeping the image
quality integral in the process. The Samsung SMX-F34 also comes built-in with a memory card slot for SD/SDHC and 16GB of internal flash memory. Boasting of the camcorder’s user friendly attribute Tony Sorice, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Digital Imaging at Samsung Electronics America, was quoted as saying, “This is a camcorder that anyone can pick up and use without feeling intimidated, and which offers a full suite of features that would typically demand a higher price tag. Without breaking the bank, Samsung gives consumers the ability to leverage high-performance optics and imaging technologies that will enhance their overall digital imaging experience and encourage them to explore digital video for all that it has to offer.” The SMX-F34 is expected to be made available in spring 2009, but there is no info as to its pricing.
