Land Fraud Workgroup
 This workgroup is in the Real Property
    Law and Legal Issues Committee
 One way or another all of the kinds of

    recorded documents and the
    recordation of bogus documents.

Property Records Industry Association • www.pria.us
Land Fraud Workgroup
 All land fraud leaves a trail of
misinformation in the offices of land
recorders and in other local agencies such
    as assessors.
 Like all other forms of fraud, preventing
and prosecuting land fraud is a perpetual
war between an honest citizenry and a
fringe of the dishonest and unscrupulous.

Land Fraud Workgroup
 The broad mission of the workgroup is to
    engage land recorders and industry
participants in a dialog to better define
how the business and government sectors
of the industry can cooperate to develop
more effective means of detecting or
    preventing fraud while providing continued
confidence in our land recording system.
