Follow these steps to create a succinct and compelling Solution Profile that
can be uploaded into the Microsoft Solution Profile Tool to promote your
business to Microsoft’s small business audience.
Write down the name of your company and your area of expertise.
Write down what solutions you offer and state your target audience, with
particular reference to any industries/sectors you like to work with.
For example: Bob’s IT Services: Supporting small business retailers with
Microsoft Dynamics products.
Write down 3 benefits related to each of your solutions from your target
audience’s perspective. Be as specific as possible and think of your
company’s unique approach. For example:
Solution = Microsoft Dynamics CRM training
Benefit = We offer a comprehensive and tailored 5 day in-house training
program to help your team feel more confident about using your software and
to ensure that everyone is getting the most out of it.
Describe the way that your solutions can change/improve a typical small
business in your target audience.
We can show you how to use your Microsoft Dynamics CRM software to
predict how much income your business will generate over the next three
Explain how your solution is different from other similar businesses.
Write down 1-3 things that are unique or special about your business.
For example: Family owned and operated? Been in business for a long
period? Won any awards? Etc.
Describe any particular approaches/philosophies that you apply to your
customer service. For example: do you like to be as hands-on as possible or
prefer to manage things online? (Different customers prefer different things.)
Do you offer evening service calls etc.
What are your full contact details? [Only include this section if you are
