INSIGHT COMMUNICATIONS ANNOUNCES NEW VICE
PRESIDENT OF CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
NEW YORK – April 29, 2005 – Insight Communications (NASDAQ: ICCI) has appointed Dave Seibold to the
position of vice president of customer experience, effective immediately. Doug Giesen, Insight’s senior vice president,
customer experience and operations, made the announcement.

Seibold’s responsibilities in this new position include improvement of the customer experience, focusing on quality and
simplicity, across all customer interactions. He is based in Louisville, Ky. and will report directly to Giesen.

Seibold brings to Insight 25 years of experience in the cable industry. Prior to joining Insight, he was corporate director
of performance management for Charter Communications. He has also held various system, division and corporate
management positions with InterMedia Partners, Comcast, Kblcom, and Time Warner Cable.

Seibold earned a bachelor of science degree in computer management from Franklin University, and also attended The
Ohio State University.
