                                 Post Prom 2010
                       Saturday, May 8 – Sunday, May 9
                           11:59 P.M. until 3:00 A.M.
                     Dowling Catholic High School Gymnasium

Time to Rock!! Dowling Catholic’s Prom is less than 3 weeks away, with Post Prom
immediately following back at school!! Post Prom, a parent organized and chaperoned
event, is the perfect way for Dowling Catholic Junior and Senior Students and their
dates to continue enjoying their Prom night in a fun, safe environment. All Dowling
Catholic Junior and Senior students are welcome – whether they attend Prom or not!
Of course, non-Dowling Catholic students are welcome too with their Dowling student
dates! What better way to Rock the Night away with friends!!!

In case you haven’t heard, Hollywood Burnout, formerly known as Little MoJo, is our
special rock-band guest that night!! This is IN ADDITION to inflatables, a
hypnotist, Wii Dance, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, massage chairs, food, memories and
games GALORE!!! And like that’s not enough, there will be PRIZES like crazy – with
NO ONE going home empty handed!!!!

Tickets for Post Prom will ONLY be on sale at school during lunch hours May 5, 6
and 7, for $7 a ticket. (This is a paperless event and we will not be able to notify
parents who has or has not purchased tickets.) At the time of purchase, students
will provide a parent’s phone number, as Dowling Catholic parents will be called if
their student who has purchased a ticket has not arrived at Post Prom by 12:30 A.M.
Tickets will NOT be available at the door that night! Be sure to arrive ready to rock
before 12:30 A.M., as no one will be allowed in to Post Prom after 12:30 A.M.!

Doors will open at Post Prom at 11:30 P.M. and places will be available at school to
change after Prom if students are unable to change before arriving by 12:30 A.M.
This party then is a Lock-In, and students will not be able to leave until the evening
ends at 3:00 A.M. Prizes start at 12:15 A.M.anyway – also to go all night! You
must BE THERE though to score a prize! As a parent chaperoned event, school
administration is not present, but an off-duty West Des Moines Police Officer will be
there all evening to help us enjoy the night safely.

Parents, there is still time to make this an even greater night! Food, prizes,
attractions and entertainment depend entirely on private and business donations, and
volunteer hours. Please help us through your financial and volunteer support to make
this a wonderful night for our kids! Contributions can be sent to the Business Office
at school, making sure to include Post Prom in the memo. If you are able to help
chaperone the event, please email one of the Chairpersons below. Thank you in
advance for helping make this the best Prom night ever!
