ATTENTION STUDENTS

and Wednesday, May 23rd .

ATTENTION STUDENTS
There will be a meeting for all those interested in acting in an improv theatre
show tonight at 7 p.m. in the Lecture Hall. No experience necessary.

ATTENTION STUDENTS
Anyone who purchased one of the first 250 tickets to the Cotillion and has
not picked up a shirt should see Mr. Genova after school to collect it.

ATTENTION STUDENTS APPLYING FOR THE FRESHMAN
ORIENTATION PROGRAM
Almost all students applying to be mentors have NOT answered the first
question on the application, “explain why you want to be a student mentor.”
Please make sure you have answered this question. If you already turned in
your application, please go to the main office and double check that you
answered question #1.
                          NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS

After Prom Breakfast Facts for Seniors:

  1. You do not have to go to the prom to attend the Breakfast.
  2. You do not need to sign up, just come to the Senior Center at midnight on June 6.
  3. The Breakfast is free of charge.
  4. You may go home to change first, but you must arrive at the Breakfast before
     1:30. The doors will be locked at 1:30 and no one will be allowed in.
  5. You may leave the Breakfast before 5:30, but you will not be allowed back into
     the Breakfast.
  6. You must be present to win cash and prizes. If you leave, you forfeit your chance
     to win.
  7. Please be sure to check-in when you first arrive at the Breakfast - that is how you
     are registered for prizes.
  8. Only Chelmsford High SENIORS are eligible for prizes.
  9. Each Senior who is present at the Breakfast will be eligible to win one half-
     hourly prize and one Grand prize at the end of the night (so, even if you win one
     of the prizes drawn each half hour, you are still eligible to win one of the grand
     prizes).
  10.      Some of the prizes to be given away at the Breakfast include: flat screen
     TVs, digital cameras, guitar hero, printers, game systems, including wii and
     Playstation 3, a lap top, and CASH!! You can’t win if you don’t come!!

C.H.S. 2007 POPS CONCERT
Wednesday, May 23rd at 7 p.m. C.H.S. Performing Arts Center. Donation:
$3/Adult at the Door. Please join us as we present our FIRST CONCERT in
the new C.H.S. Performing Arts Center which will feature our: C.H.S.
Concert Band, C.H.S. Treble Choir, C.H.S. Big Band, C.H.S. Orchestra,
C.H.S. Symphonic Band, C.H.S. Vocal Jazz Choir and the C.H.S. Concert
Choir.
ATTENTION THEATRE GUILD MEMBERS
The banquet is this Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Fletcher Club. Directions are
posted on the Theatre Guild Board. You must buy your ticket by lunch
tomorrow, Wednesday.

WHITE WATER RAFTING TRIP
The rafting trip is this Friday, May 25th . Meet in front of the high school at 7
a.m. on Friday morning. Bring all the clothing and items listed in the letter
sent home last week. If you need a copy of the list of what to bring see Mrs.
Gauthier in room 328.

ATTENTION TEACHERS
The Retirement Party Planning committee will be meeting tomorrow,
Wednesday, May 23rd after school in Whittier House. Hope to see you there.
ATTENTION PARENTS: AFTER PROM BREAKFAST NEWS
The APB Committee would like to thank everyone who has donated or volunteered to help the APB.
However, we are also in need of food donations for the breakfast. Though some of our food cost is
covered by the money donations from businesses and individuals, most of the money raised goes to
getting great prizes, the cost of the Senior Center and decorations. After reading the surveys the
kids sent back the most popular food requests were:

ATTENTION SENIORS
The student council general meeting has been rescheduled for tomorrow,
Wednesday, May 23rd after school in room 305. All new board members
should attend this meeting.

VARIETY SHOW
Tickets for the Variety Show are on sale at lunches for $5. The show will be
this Friday, May 25th from 7 – 9 p.m. as a fundraiser for UNICEF. Invite
your friends and family and support our cause. Everyone is welcome.

               IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CHS STUDENTS DURING MCAS DAYS

On May 22 and May 23 the sequence of the blocks will be F G C D E A B. The beginning and ending time of the
blocks will not change.

On May 24 the sequence of the blocks will be A B C D E F G. The beginning and ending time of the blocks will
not change.

Students will not be allowed to use the foreign language/health wing to travel from class to class or to go to
lockers during the testing time (7:19-10:40 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, May 22-24).

MCAS INFORMATION

ROOM ASSIGNMENTS AND ROOM SWAPS LISTS WILL BE POSTED IN THE MAIN OFFICE, IN
THE DINING ROOMS AND OUTSIDE EACH HOUSE OFFICE.

The testing time is from 7:19 to 10:40 on May 22 – May 24. Students who do not complete the test at 10:40 will
move to Lecture Hall 1 and/or the Library.

MATH MCAS INFORMATION: On the second day only, (May 24), students MUST BRING A
CALCULATOR. Calculators may be signed out from the student’s math teacher.

Our car wash has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 3rd from 10 a.m. to 1
p.m. Please make every effort to attend. We need you!

ATTENTION PARENTS
A large number of seniors indicated on the After Prom Breakfast Survey that
they would love to have a pair of tickets to a Red Sox game. If anyone works
for a company, or knows of a company what would be willing to donate a

FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE FOR SENIORS
Senior final exams will be administered this Friday, May 25th – June 1st . The
last day of classes for seniors will be this Thursday, May 24th . During senior
exam week, seniors need only attend those classes in which they are assigned
an exam.

EXAM SCHEDULE FOR UNDERCLASSMEN
Final exams will be administered from June 12th – June 18th . The last day of
classes for underclassmen will be Monday June 11th . Buses will run at
12:15 p.m. on the days of the exams.

ATTENTION STUDENTS
During finals please remember books, projects, homework, etc. We cannot
interrupt classrooms for these forgotten items.
ATTENTION SENIOR CLASS OF 2007 – IMPORTANT
INFORMATION
Senior Dues are currently $90. They must be paid by May 31st . Please make
check payable to the “Class of 2007” and give it to a Class Advisor, Mr.
Morris, in Room 12 (Science Wing). You will not be permitted to participate
in Senior Week Activities if you do not pay Senior Dues.

Senior Breakfast, Monday, June 4th
Boys – Monday, June 4th , at the Radisson Chelmsford Hotel, at 8 a.m.
Girls – Monday, June 4th, at the Westford Regency Hotel in Westford, MA at
8 a.m.

Yearbook Assembly – Monday, June 4th at the C.H.S. Gym following the
breakfasts.

Prom – Tuesday, June 5th at the Westin Waterfront Hotel, 425 Summer
Street, Boston, MA 02210, 6 – 11 p.m.

After Prom Breakfast – Wednesday, June 6th , North Chelmsford Senior
Center, 12 a.m. – 5:30 a.m.

BBQ (tentative) – Thursday, June 7th , 11 a.m., top C.H.S. Track.

Graduation Practice – Friday, June 8th , 8 a.m. (mandatory to graduate)
C.H.S. Gym.

Graduation – Saturday, June 9th at 6 p.m., rain date Sunday, June 10th at 2
p.m. No tickets required. Held in George Simonian Alumni Stadium here at
C.H.S.

Senior Banquet – Friday, June 8th , at the Holiday Inn, 242 Adams Place,
Boxborough, MA., 6 – 11 p.m.
Commencement – Saturday, June 9th , at C.H.S. George Simonian Alumni
Field at 6 p.m. (Graduates due by 4:30 p.m.)

***Participation in Senior Week Activities is a privilege and not a right!!!
Students may lose the privilege to participate in activities due to disciplinary
