LOS CABOS ORIENTATION & SHOPPING

Experience the history and beauty of Los Cabos as your guide
shows you the culture of the area, starting with the native
Indians and progressing through the colonization by
missionaries, including the pirate era. Enjoy the beauty that
surrounds San Jose, the incredible Tourist Corridor, and
fascinating Cabo San Lucas. You will visit the glass-blowing
factory, Artesanos, which has arts and crafts from 13 different
states in the Republic of Mexico. You will also visit old
regional houses and La Mission (built in 1730 and one of the
principal missions of Baja). Time will be allotted for

ART IN THE HEART OF BAJA: TODOS SANTOS TOUR

HORSEBACK RIDING

The rare mixture of golden beaches and desert make the perfect
setting for this horseback riding experience. Enjoy the gorgeous
scenery, the turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortez and the desert
plants that are not found in other parts of the Peninsula, while
horseback riding. Skilled guides patiently explain exactly what
you need to know while also providing entertainment. Whether
your are a first-time rider or more experienced, this tour is for
those who want to have fun while creating great memories and

transportation, riding equipment, a guide, a two-hour horseback

LA PAZ & TODOS SANTOS

                                                         Originally a pirate’s haven, La Paz is the capital of the
                                                         state of Baja California Sur and lies 100 miles north of
                                                         Cabo San Lucas. Located on a wide bay on the Sea of
                                                         Cortez, La Paz is still a tranquil and very Mexican port. It
                                                         has preserved a sort of nostalgic “Old Baja” atmosphere.
                                                         Enjoy a visit to the Cathedral built in the 18th century and
                                                         the anthropology museum, where you can see the vestiges
                                                         of the ancient peninsular denizens as well as the
                                                         rupestrian paintings. (Rupestrian art is the term given to
                                                         the artistic works of pre-industrial man, often left on
                                                         hillsides, rocks, and cave walls.) The city has a
                                                         commercial area where you can purchase authentic
                                                         Mexican handcrafts as well as imported duty-free items.
Enjoy a lunch at a traditional restaurant and then head to Todos Santos, an enchanting town where many artists
reside. This rustic town is just one kilometer from the Pacific Ocean at the foothills of the Sierra de La Laguna
Mountains. Todos Santos is also renowned as the home of Hotel California, Don Henley’s inspiration for the
famous Eagles song. Visit the galleries, a homemade candy store, the mission and other interesting sites before

TRANSPARENT KAYAKING & SNORKELING

Santa Maria and Chileno are known as the best bays in
the area for swimming and snorkeling. Santa Maria is a
natural, scalloped-shaped cove that is surrounded by
craggy cliffs. You might see many species of tropical
fish and gorgonians lining the rock walls. East of Santa
Maria is Chileno Bay, an underwater preserve that is
inhabited with a variety of marine life. The tidal pools
near the Eastern bluff are wonderful to explore. Kayak
from Santa Maria to Chileno and enjoy a protected
finger reef, teeming with tropical fish, eels, starfish and
urchins in calm, shallow waters. Your trip includes
transparent kayak and all gear, snorkeling gear, a

EL ARCO KAYAKING & SNORKELING

                                       El Arco, the spectacular natural rock formation that intersects the Gulf of
                                       California and the Pacific Ocean, is a must-see for visitors traveling to the
                                       Baja Peninsula. The Arch is visible from the marina and some of the area
                                       beaches, but is most impressive when viewed from the water. Pirates used
                                       to hide behind the Arch awaiting merchant ships heading down the west
                                       coast. Explore the incredible rock formations while kayaking and snorkeling
                                       at this postcard-worthy site. Your trip includes kayak and all gear,
                                       snorkeling gear, a professional guide, round-trip transportation and

ZIP LINE CANYON ADVENTURE

Travel to Desertica, an Old West-themed town that features a main
square complete with a chapel, bank and medical services. Upon
arrival, travel in 6x6 Austrian army trucks toward the old Gold
Canyon Yeneka and the Aventura world-class canyoning course.
Here, a knowledgeable guide will help you don the harnesses and
safety equipment and give you a thorough explanation of how to
behave, what to expect, and how to make the most of your
experience. Once ready, hook your harness to the cable and go!
Feel the rush while travelling on these eight ultrafast zip lines. After
an exhilarating experience, return to Desertica’s meeting place and
enjoy the refreshing pool until a light lunch is served. Your trip
includes all equipment, professional staff, round-trip transportation,
bottled water and a light lunch. Please note: This trip is not
recommended for children under seven years old. Long pants and
closed-toe shoes are recommended for the zip line course. ($95)

LOS CABOS TWO-TANK SCUBA DIVING TRIP

                                               This trip is for certified divers only. Dive locations for this two-
                                               tank dive include Sand Falls, discovered by Jacques Cousteau,
                                               which has steep sand banks cascading into the canyon and large
                                               congregations of tropical fish. The slopes are usually teeming with
                                               gorgonians (sea fans); it is not unusual to spot rays and big fish
                                               swimming in nearby deeper water. The second location is the
                                               Pinnacle or Land’s End, which is known for its sea lion colony,
                                               turtles and huge sea bass. Marauding schools of game fish brought
                                               in by large schools of baitfish (e.g.: sardines and green jacks) are
                                               frequently seen. Pelagic creatures such as whale sharks and mantas
                                               are also spotted in this area. If you are lucky, you may catch a
                                               glimpse of morays and octopus hiding in underwater caves. Please
                                               note: All equipment is included on this trip. The dive locations are
                                               part of the Mexican Underwater National Park; collecting or
                                               disturbing marine animals or plants is strictly prohibited. ($110)

SPORT FISHING ADVENTURE

Los Cabos is a fishing heaven and known as the Marlin Capital of the World.
There were more striped marlin caught within 20 miles of Los Cabos last year
than any place in the world, but marlin is not the only fish that you can catch.
Dorado (mahi-mahi), yellow-fin tuna, and wahoo are present, to name a few.
Cabo San Lucas offers some of the finest sport fishing on the planet. You can
join the ranks of Ernest Hemmingway and John Wayne aboard one of the
fishing yachts and experience the exhilaration as you hook a marlin or other
game fish. Every skill is accommodated. Your trip includes full tackle
equipment, live bait, refreshments and a packed lunch. Please note: A fishing
license of $14 per person is not included in the cost of this trip, but must be paid
in cash at the marina; tips for the captain and mate are also not included.
Protection from the sun, such as a hat, sunglasses and sun block, is

SWIMMING WITH DOLPHINS

Dolphins offers a rare opportunity to swim and play with beautiful Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins while visiting
Cabo San Lucas. Cabo Dolphins is one of the most exclusive and beautiful dolphin centers in the world, featuring
state-of-the-art facilities and a friendly family of dolphins. “Swim with Dolphins” programs are educational and
interactive experiences designed to give you a deeper understanding, and allow you to enjoy a special closeness,
                                                       with these amazing animals. Please note: The Cabo Dolphin
                                                       program is approximately 60 minutes and includes 40
                                                       minutes of in-water interaction with the dolphins in small
                                                       groups. This trip is not recommended for children under five
                                                       years old; children must be accompanied by a parent or
                                                       guardian. The ability to swim is required, although non-
                                                       swimmers may attend and watch this experience. Bring a
                                                       bathing suit and towel; changing facilities are available. In
                                                       order to avoid damaging the dolphins’ skin, please do not
                                                       apply suntan lotion prior to this trip. Jewelry is not permitted

CABO ESCAPE: SNORKELING AT EL CHILENO

The Chileno Bay, an underwater preserve that is inhabited with a variety of marine
life, is another breathtaking bay known for its diving and snorkeling. The tidal
pools near the Eastern bluff are wonderful to explore. The clear aquamarine water
teems with marine life, and the beach is wide and fairly flat. Rocky reefs run
parallel to the beach and are home to tropical fish, sea turtles, moray eels, sea
urchins, gorgonians (sea fans), sponges and starfish. Travel by boat up the coastline
to El Chileno, one of the area’s best snorkel spots. Get ready to snorkel, kayak,
sunbath or jump in the clear waters—a great midday treat in Cabo. Lunch, including
deli meats, chips, salsa and fresh guacamole, is included onboard. Please note: The
snorkeling portion of this trip is not recommended for children under five years old;
children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Beach towel, beach
shoes/sandals and sun protection are recommended; wear your swimsuit underneath
your clothing. En route to El Chileno, the boat will pass El Arco, therefore a camera
