Feedback Changes http://pages.ebay.com/services/forum/new.html Effective February 2008 • Buyers and sellers will be able to earn up to one Feedback per week from the same trading partner. Effective May 2008 • Sellers may only leave positive feedback for buyers (optional). • Removal of negative and neutral feedback from a seller if buyer doesn’t respond to Unpaid Item Process. • Removal of negative and neutral feedback and comments when a member is suspended (retroactive – for both buyer and seller). • Prevent negative and neutral feedback from being given within 3 days of listing end. • Member must leave feedback within 60 days (down from 90 days). • Blocked bidder capacity increased to 5000 (from 1000). • Feedback percentage will be based on only prior 12 months. Every address in the PayPal system will be considered a confirmed address for PowerSellers. There will no longer be an annual $5,000 limit on seller protection. PowerSellers will have unlimited protection coverage. PowerSeller protection will be extended to cover transactions with buyers in many markets around the world (instead of only to US, Canada and the UK). The Unpaid Item Protection Program that refunds feature fees to PowerSellers in the event of an unpaid item will become a permanent benefit of the PowerSeller program (both for auction-style listings and single-item fixed priced listings).
Fee Discounts Effective April 2008 Based on Detailed Seller Ratings over the last 30 days: • For those with a 4.6 and above on all four DSR criteria: 5% discount off your final value fees. • For those with 4.8 and above: 15% off your final value fees. Membership Qualification Effective July 2008 • To become a PowerSeller and remain in the program there will be the additional DSR criteria of 4.5 in the prior 12 month period
