           Outreach Strategy: Use resources through media, City of Fort Collins, and local assistance centers to target elderly,
           low-income, disabled and LEP to publicize available credits and e-file assistance.

           Tax Preparation Strategy: Deliver free tax preparation services to low income, LEP, disabled and elderly through VITA
           tax preparation site locations. Expanding hours and services at existing locations and the addition of and consolitation of
           existing paper sites in the county and changing them to e-file sites.

           Asset-Building Strategy: Provide year round tax assistance and work toward having a state-wide coalition.

           Maintained four sites in Ft. Collins, three site in Loveland, one site in Weld County which aternated between Winsor
           Library and PVREA due to the library having construction during filing season. Had a homebound service to nursing
           homes, disabled centers in addition to individual homes which was handled by the Larimer Cty Moble site. Also helped
           international students to prepare their tax returns.
           Worked on building Colorado Asset Building Coalition to be a statewide coalition
           For the FY 09 filing season, the coalition's nine sites have prepared 2819 total returns with 2609 having been e-filed, for
           92.6% e-filed returns, an increase of 3.8% over last year's coalition's e-file percentage.
           The coalition prepared 2795 returns, of which 2483 were electronically filed FY 08; this compares to previous years as
           follows:
           Prepared 2056 returns of which 1899 were electronically filed FY '07 (e-file only sites)
           Prepared 1921 returns of which 1663 were electronically filed FY 06' (e-file sites only)
           Prepared 1051 returns of which 801 were electronically filed FY'05 (w/ three paper sites).

           Recruitment of volunteers from colleges and other local organizations
           Promotion of the sites

           Coalition is expecting to have a membership drive in late June 2009 to start early training in October for new volunteers.

          Outreach Strategy: A limited outreach plan was used during the 2009 filing season which consisted of radio
h         interviews conducted by Judith Boudreau, flyers, and newspaper ads.

          Tax Preparation Strategy: To provide the Pueblo County communities with free e-file tax preparation and education
h         for low and moderate income families.

          Asset-Building Strategy: 2009 filing season was the first year the coalition activity incorporated asset building by
          displaying National Endowment for Financial Education advertising posters that encourage savings through split
          refunds and EITC.

          291 percent increase in productivity.
