RESEARCH, OUTLINE, AND NOTE CARD ACTIVITY
DIRECTIONS: With a partner, research the Content Requirements stated below and create an outline using correct MLA format in order to prepare note cards. Be sure to read and follow all information carefully. Content Requirements:
Based upon the average person residing in Arizona: o How much is spent on a daily basis for food? o What is the yearly maintenance of a four door automobile (only 1994 through 2004 models)? o What is the typical monthly cost for an employee receiving dental/medical insurance from their employer? o What is the typical cost of dental/medical insurance for an uninsured person between the ages of 18 to 23? o What is the wage for a person with only a high school diploma locally and nationally? If currently attending university/college (in or out of state), what would be the costs of: o A full-time student’s (12 hours or more) semester tuition? o Yearly parking? o A full-time student’s yearly book expense? o Living on campus for one year, in a dorm, with one roommate?

Brainstorm information regarding group content Information stated must be based on Content Requirements stated above Must use at least three (3) different resources Research must be based on facts to illustrate the content Must have quotes with proper citations to support group stated facts
Outline Requirements:
Margins are at 1” (right, left, top and bottom) Font should be 12 point and New Times Roman (do not bold anything) Spacing should be double-spaced throughout Follow “Steps to Create an Outline” handout (given in class/ eCampus)
