TOTAL BODY FITNESS COURSE OUTLINE
Fall 2006 Mrs. Niemiec Course description Total body fitness is designed to teach concepts that encompass the mind-body relationship. Topics to be covered include: fitness components, types of fitness programs, nutrition & diet, stress management, & other wellness concepts. Class format Points will be awarded through daily participation, worksheets, & projects. Grading A=100-93 B=92-86 C=85-79 D=78-70 F=69 & below Class procedures 1. CLS PE uniform & gym shoes (no flip flops, sandals, or clogs) required daily. 2. No dresses will result in a discipline referral (no points can be earned or made up) 3. Please keep your personal belonging LOCKED UP in your locker. 4. Please keep the locker room area clean – throw away all garbage 5. Please be in the assigned area ON TIME! 6. A parent note is required for a daily excusal due to illness or injury; a doctor’s note is required for an extended excusal. Make-up work will be assigned for all medicals and must be turned in if you wish up missed points.
